Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe gravel road to get here was very bumpy and it was a bit of a rough scooter ride coming to and from the accommodation! But we got used to it!
Stunning location looking over the ocean- felt like we were in the Mediterranean. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff and a very relaxing and quiet place to stay.

AustraliaThe location is a little far from the centre, so I would say you would need to hire your own scooter if you wanted to explore the island. Also the pool/bar area is shared to the general public during sunset hours. As they only have 3 lodges, I agree that they need to do this to generate income to their business. These are not necessarily a con, just something to keep in mind.
Staff are incredibly friendly and were able to connect us to a mobile doctor even when everyone else on the island was closed - words cannot express how grateful I was to them for this. They even brought over a fruit platter to make me feel better. Facilities were nice and the aircon was crisp and cold.

AustraliaWe absolutely loved our 6 days at The Edge in Nusa Lembongan. With only 3 x cabins onsite and a small bar, The Edge is a lovely alternative to the mega villas of Canguu and its position on a cliff looking over the ocean meant we found it peaceful and relaxing. We were really well looked after y Ngurah and Wayan who were both friendly and helpful. Wayan made us simple, fresh breakfasts and juices and kept our room clean. Ngurah took us out for a snorkelling trip on, lent us snorkels to explore the rocks at Secret Beach (5 mins walk) and also organised a scooter for us to use. The Edge is a short walk to a small convenience store and K, Jendra Bar & Warung (delicious food) and 15 min walk to Mushroom Bay / Sandy Bay beach club but we found the scooter great for exploring further or travelling in the hottest part of the day. Sunsets at the Edge bar are something people travel from all over Nusa Lembongan and if you keep an eye out, you will spot pods of dolphins and turtles feeding. We can't wait to visit the Edge again.

IndonesiaThe location seems to be a few minutes walk from the nearest convenient store, we had to order take outs from nearby restaurants beforehand.
The astonishing view, the staff Wayan was very friendly and enjoyed conversations with us. We had a very comfortable stay and everything was clean, we enjoyed the sunset near the cliff and there is a bar for leisure. Wifi was super speedy and I had an amazing stay for 2 nights!

AustraliaLoved our stay here! Secluded property with 3 huts/villas so it is very peaceful and quiet. Short walk to nearby eating places and many places on the island will pick you up so getting around with no bike was not an issue. Right next to secret beach and only 15min walk to mushroom bay. Basic accomodation with absolutely stunning views & pool. The bar is the perfect place to watch the sunset & have a drink! The free breakfast was also very yummy :)

IndiaThis is a gem in Nusa Lembongan! The place is beautiful and looked after with such care by Nura and the view from the pool that overlooks the ocean is absolutely stunning. We were lucky to catch one of the most stunning sunsets, and if the weather gods permit, even the sunrise can be amazing. The pod of dolphins we saw on our last day there was a real highlight for us. Nura is such a warm, friendly and super helpful person and we wish him the absolute best. His lunch of fried fish was some of the best I've had! Thank you. Definitely coming back to stay here in the future.

AustraliaIt is really an "eco-style" accommodation. Wooden cabins that let constantly mosquitos in. Toilet breaking all the time (not flushing), hot water close to none, wash basin draining on your feet to the pebble floor, shower floor also made of pebbles which can't be cleaned.
The views are amazing, one can see Mt Agung on Bali over the Badung Straight, a lot of dolphins, the occasional sea turtle, birds and about twenty species of butterflies. Good air-conditioning. Friendly staff (Wayan). Nice little pool.

AustraliaUnfortunately we did not enjoy our time at The Edge at all. I’ve never written a review like this before but we were so glad to leave. We went in wet season and booked and paid for 4 nights but left after 3 nights because we were so uncomfortable. The location is very far away from the main area of Nusa Lembongan and the road into The Edge is literally falling apart. After we had some rain it was so dangerous to drive down the road as it’s covered in slippery mud and loose stones. There are 3 cabins on the property so it’s very quiet. The cabins are falling apart, they are not clean or comfortable. We did not have hot water and had to have cold showers. On our second night there was a storm, part of the roof was banging loudly and water was leaking from the ceiling causing the floor to be very wet. Luckily there was no one staying in the cabin next to us and we were able to move at 9pm and sleep in a dry room, which did have hot water. There are mozzies everywhere in the room as there are gaps in the cabins. The bathroom is partly outdoors so it got very wet and damp after rain. The shower had pebbles all on the floor so it’s not able to be cleaned properly. The sink does not drain it literally just drips the water below wetting your feet every time you use it. The towels provided were clean but stained and thin. The breakfast was slow and not enjoyable. The tea cups were dirty and the banana pancakes were thin tasteless crepes with 2 small slices on banana. I’m sorry to the staff who will read this poor review, I just wish I read an honest review like this one before I booked.
I really would not recommend this property. It did have a great view, good wifi and kind staff but that’s all.
