Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe only downside is that during the 3 days we were there they did not have the beef oxtail soup. Minor issue.
Everything, impossible to top the experience here. This is peak performance for a resort- staff, facilities, food, etc. I would give them an 11/10!

United Arab EmiratesOur recent stay at the Kayon Jungle Resort in Ubud exceeded all expectations and stands out as one of the finest hotels we’ve had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the resort’s breathtaking surroundings, impeccable service, and exceptional culinary offerings. The natural beauty surrounding the resort is nothing short of spectacular. With lush jungles, serene rivers, and awe-inspiring vistas, every glance seemed to be a view from a postcard. The careful integration of the resort’s architecture with its pristine environment truly sets it apart. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional staff. Their attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism created an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. It’s evident that the team at Kayon Jungle Resort is dedicated to ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued. Speaking of highlights, the dining experience was a journey of culinary delight. We had the pleasure of partaking in the restaurant’s BBQ night, where the quality of the food equaled the beauty of the setting. The dishes were a symphony of flavors, expertly prepared and served with precision. The evening’s entertainment, featuring traditional Balinese dance performances, added a cultural dimension that enriched our stay. The resort’s commitment to excellence was evident in every detail, from the elegant design of our private villa to the personalized service provided by our butlers, Krisha and Riski. Their professionalism and attentiveness ensured our every need was met, leaving us with a profound sense of comfort and relaxation. Our time at Kayon Jungle Resort was a true once-in-a-lifetime experience. The memories we created and the hospitality we received will remain etched in our minds forever. If you’re seeking a luxurious retreat surrounded by nature’s splendor, impeccable service, and culinary mastery, look no further.

AustraliaThe resort is located 30 mins out of Ubud… longer if during day with traffic. Not a problem if your destination is the resort (and why not, it’s amazing) but if you’re like us and want to see more of the area it can be a little tedious going back and forward from town. The resort puts on a free shuttle 4 times a day which helps. Note if you’re in Ubud for dinner it can be a challenge to get a driver to agree to take you back to resort as it is a 1.5hr round trip for them, best to arrange collection with resort first.
We stayed in the premier room - these rooms are furthest away from the main resort with plenty of privacy to enjoy the personal pool and jacuzzi. They’re nestled in the bottom of the valley overlooking the waterfall but still have a beautiful outlook. They come with a butler service (Krisna was very attentive!) and buggy transportation up to the main resort if you’re not up for the (very steep) walk. The main resort area is also spectacular with multiple pool areas to choose from. They open their doors to visitors from 11 so recommend house guests grab a spot by the main pool before then as it can get a bit busier later on. Recommend a cocktail by the main pool before dinner once the day guests are gone - lovely place to watch the sunset. Food selection is great, perhaps not 5 star but a broad range of cuisines both Indonesian and international which meant we always found something we liked. Finally, if you want to see more of the surrounding areas, the resort can put on a day tour with one of their drivers which we did and had a great day out )a visit to jatiluwih is a must!)

NetherlandsThe restaurant and spa was good, however not exceptional. Expect hotel guests to be making a lot of pictures for their instagram. It takes away a bit the magic of the place.
Beautiful infinity pool in the middle of the nature, absolutely gorgeous. The local staff is just amazing - they really make sure to go the extra mile to ensure you have a fantastic stay with a special thanks to Louis who helped us with some logistics arrangement. We also liked the opportunity to get a photograph from a professional photographer.

NetherlandsIt's a bit far from Ubud, but you can take the shuttle service, that takes about 45 minutes to Ubud.
Absolutely loved it, I felt like a queen. They remember your name, what you like and don't like. The breakfast is very good, lots off choices, nice coffee, fruit, cereals and bread. Welcoming drink and massage, great swimming pools, bars and restaurants. The staff really made our stay unforgettable. Loved the view from the balcony of our apartment, the bathroom is nice, fresh towels and water twice a day.

First of all the pictures don’t do the scenery justice, it’s a truly remarkable property to look at. We stayed in a jungle pool villa and it was beautiful with a lot of amenities inside which made our trip that little bit more easier. Most of all the staff are incredible, every single one took time out of their day to ensure your day was perfect and I can’t thank them enough. Kepitu restaurant also had a lot of choice and was all very nice and the breakfast was wonderful (but inside because of the bees lol) Thank you so much Kayon for the 3 nights we stayed and we wish we could’ve stayed for longer. The staff displayed the utmost professionalism and were incredibly attentive throughout our stay, making us feel valued and cared for. The hotel's vibes were perfect, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. We especially loved the pampering we received, which added a delightful touch to our overall experience; special thanks to our butlers Septi and Risky, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. RomaniaA fabulous property, very well maintained, which is truly impressive given the size of it. Their "Ubud escape" motto could not be more accurate, as it is a beautiful gem in the middle of the jungle, far from the busy town. I booked a Premier Pool Villa, but got upgraded to the Royal Villa. It was an absolute surprise! It's an extra spacious property with every facility you could wish for (they even have a mini kitchen in the pool area with a beverage stocked fridge) and if we hadn't booked any activities in advance, I think I would have spent 3 whole days by it's pool, just enjoying the greenery, the sound of the river nearby, the privacy & comfort that it offers. I loved the entrance to the rooms, the wooden door with offerings is a nice touch as it really transmits that Balinese feeling. Also, in short: - food is really good, many options, large portions. We also joined their BBQ dinner one night, which was very nice. - they offer shuttle services to and from Ubud town - they provide a whatsapp number for communication & infos, which is very helpful - SPA service is amazing, worth booking a massage - staff is friendly and happy to help anytime. We arrived very late for our check-in and they were so considerate and prepared some sandwiches for us to enjoy. It meant the world! I may be forced to come back again :) P.S.: Thank you, Luis, our butler, for your positive & caring attitude and always making us feel comfortable during our stay
