Great and quiet place. In the middle of the island. You can rent a scooter in resort and plan each day trip to any side of the island. Staff was great and good service. Restaurant Prices are a little bit on the higher side because not many options to eat around the area.

Perfect spot in the middle of the island, approx 30/40 min from the port and 40min from Diamond beach by scooter. Room is pretty, mid-outdoor bathroom. Food onsite is good. Expect to see animals, ants, but it’s normal since it’s in the jungle !

The whole property was very dated and not suitable for people with disabilities (if that is a concern). The rooms even though appeared clean, did have areas for improvement, for example the misquote nets had visible staining and were generally dusty.

The location was superb, right in the middle of the island, however, if planning to rent a scooter prepare yourself for a lot of hills.

The location is not great, roads around the resort are not in good condition, the rooms were mouldy (But again it was the raining season so should be better during summer)

The pool is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and set amongst the trees with open/ nature filled bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. Shery, Puspa & Ningsih were super lovely, helpful & kind! This place is about a 30 minute mountainous drive from the coast of Penida. Not the most convenient location if you want to spend everyday snorkeling. But perfect if you want to be away from the busy tourist vibes, and needing some quiet time amongst nature, reading books and snoozing. I think it’s best suited for a romantic getaway, less suited for families as it’s vibe is quiet and chilled.

The property is nestled in a serene, forest-like setting, surrounded by lush greenery that enhances its natural beauty. What truly sets this place apart, however, is its exceptional staff. They are incredibly respectful, professional, and warm, demonstrating a level of hospitality rarely seen in Bali. Every request was met with promptness and a genuine willingness to assist. During our stay, we encountered an insect in the room, and a staff member went above and beyond to remove it. His dedication and effort were truly remarkable. Words cannot fully capture the kindness and attentiveness of the entire team. The meal was exceptionally flavorful and delightfully delicious. The staff was very kind to give eggless breakfast.

The property was great but just to be aware for others, you’re in the middle of the island and need a scooter or a car to get around. You’re not close to the main town harbour area. The roads are okay to drive if on the main roads and not up all back streets as we had an issue where maps took us a different route and we went up some really bad roads which were scary at night.

The hotel is jungle feel and everything was beautiful. The room was exactly like the photos and we honestly loved every part. The sound of the wildlife was fabulous. The decor across the hotel is fabulous. Lovely pool and great food and drink. The outside shower was wonderful in our room. Really liked the bathroom. It had everything we needed. Air con was good too. Hotel was very clean. The bed was really comfy and it’s huge. They refill your water daily too which is nice. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio area of an evening too.

Please do keep in mind that the rooms are from bamboo so, besides the atmosphere being one with nature, the room is damp. I mean damp close to wet. Wet sheets, wet pillows, and no, it never dries down. For me personally it was incredibly difficult to sleep. Maybe it’s a matter of preference, since my company could easily adjust, but do keep this in mind. AC is not really contributing in drying things down. This is the price we paid for enjoying the stunning natural scenery. But I wish we knew beforehand.

The property location was absolutely beautiful, right in the heart of Nusa Penida jungle. The nature and the scenery is extremely calming and beautiful. It is the perfect place to wind down. Staff was helpful in providing car service to and from the harbour, so you can count on that should you need it. One of the friends I was traveling with got a Balinese massage within the resort and was really happy with the services and quality of the massage. Location is great if you want to enjoy the jungle. Should you wish to be closer to the beach, maybe not the spot for you, since you will need a lengthy car or scooter ride to get to any beaches.

One thing to note is the semi-open bathroom, which might take some getting used to. Someone leaning over the wall could see you, and the bathroom often has lizards and insects. At night, I had to convince myself to go to the bathroom to avoid bugs flying into the room with the light on. But that’s part of the jungle experience.

If you’re looking for a place with no crowds or tourists, this hotel is the perfect choice. It’s located in the heart of Nusa Penida and offers absolute tranquility. Despite being in the middle of the jungle, the bungalows are modern, equipped with Wi-Fi, hot water, electricity, and air conditioning. What impressed me most was the staff’s exceptional attitude. I was particularly pleased with Shery at the reception. She was always smiling, nothing was ever a problem, and she was incredibly helpful, providing advice and arranging everything I needed. Her approach made my stay even more enjoyable.

It’s risky to leave the window open at night because moskitos and other things might come in. The road is not that bad as other say.

Very nice place, nice design, pool , big bed, outside shower that looks amazing. Food at the restaurant was also good. Unfortunately we rented scooters somewhere else, after we saw that they had very nice ones with new helmets.
