Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaDuring our stay there was unfortunately renovation work going on and it was very noisy from 9am onwards. It was a bit ruining our mornings waking up from the noise as we usually like to sleep in on holidays. Starting a bit later would have been a nice gesture. The only thing we felt needed more attention is Breakfast. The served bread was very dry and hard, as it was essential for the meal it ruined the overall experience. Salt and pepper was always missing, serving small sachets would help. Serving the Coffee in a French Press with milk and sugar aside is our suggestion to improve the coffee. The taste of the balinese coffee is ok but not good when the tiny cup is half full with coffee powder. We missed a few small things that would have made our stay more comfortable. A water kettle and cups or glasses in the room or in a common area. Some dedicated space for the luggage and clothes. Small hand towels with an option to keep next to the wash basin. Offering glass instead of plastic bottles is nowadays a matter of course.
Mossca Mooi is a very cute small boutique hotel with 8 rooms, the 4 rooms at the pool have a beautiful modern interior and spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, AC working well and blackout curtains. I loved to sit on the balcony sofa and read. The pool is small but good for a quick refreshment. The location is perfect when you want peace, it's quiet as it's hidden in a corner where you don't hear any traffic sound but it's still so close to all the main attractions and restaurants that you can also walk everywhere. Breakfast is getting served on the balconies from 7-10am. Choices are limited to two options every day and looks beautifully arranged, the fresh juices were nice. The service is really good, the staff is very caring. Every day they clean your room and in the evening they come again for turndown service. In the reception they offer complimentary cold teas. We would definitely stay here again.

CanadaBeing early risers, coffee and breakfast offered a bit earlier would have been nice - but 8am seems pretty standard here.
The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful. The location was perfect - quiet yet close to main road. The pool was refreshing and clean, rooms and beds comfortable. We stayed 8 nights (family of four) and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others.

United StatesThe breakfast was pretty small.
Spacious room with a large covered patio facing the pool that was a perfectly peaceful location to eat breakfast each morning. The bathroom was open to the outside via a gap in the wall below the roof, but the humid air didn't affect the A/C in the bedroom area due to sliding door separating the two areas. The property is steps away from several food options ranging from warungs to convenience stores to Western restaurants. The main sights in Ubud are within reasonable walking distance. Yet it's on a quiet path accessible only by scooter or walking, so it's very quiet and secluded with rice fields nearby.

NetherlandsI would not recommend the mount Batur excursion through their partner operator as our pickup was >1 hour late and we missed sunrise while we payed €50 for 2 people and were not refunded. Of course this is not directly the hotels fault but they did contract this operator…
We arrived at Ubud and this hotel felt like a little oasis in an otherwise very chaotic city filled with tourists (see below). On the hotel: Good value for money, exactly as depicted in the pictures online. I’ve seen only 1-2 gecko’s in the room, no other insects/animals. The pool was clean, aircon worked great and beds and pillows were very comfortable. Complimentary drinks available, breakfast was good. Front desk manned from dawn until around 10 pm. Definitely recommend this hotel! Additional tips: They have the possibility to rent a scooter; I’d recommend you do this ahead of time through the hotel booking chat since they do run out. On Ubud: not more than 5 nights needed here I’d say. Ubud has become one of the main tourist attractions on Bali and you can clearly understand why, having been there, but if you don’t rent a scooter and drive around to waterfalls, rice fields etc, you risk your stay feeling very “Disney resort meets Ibiza/spring break party” -like. This side of Ubud where the hotel is situated at is very good walking distance to Ubud palace and situated in a good and friendly part of Ubud. Definitely recommend the location and hotel itself.

IndonesiaI booked and full paid for almost 3 weeks but i have unpleasant experienced with the way staff communicate with me, first i have planned call home visit massage therapist for have massage at villa but ended up have massage on the floor with my yoga mat because the staff in the property doesn’t allow me to have massage on bed with reason they’re so afraid their furniture will get stains. I understood and negotiated the solution, I won’t used massage oil or i will responsible to pay more for the bed cover laundry, but they answered not very nice way and asked my massage therapist to leave. But that night i felt unwell so i really need that treatment on my yoga mat. Second day 9 i decided to leave one night stayed near beach, when about i left they called me about the bed cover on my bed was torn after I left, i just used the bed very normal, and this is make me fed up so i reply to them I won’t comeback and they can keep the money for buy it. I still have one more week stay in the villa but for me better i lost my money rather than dealing with situations like that it’s so drained my energy. Now I would like to stay the place bit overpriced for the service like that, and they should make improvements on their management and training their staff. It’s very disappointed experience for me.
The room cozy and clean, the breakfast also amazing but need extra charge if you want to order others juice, near the property there’s plenty of restaurants and laundry easy to be accessed. The places also quite.
