Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesDisadvantages: 1. Property: a bit far from most of ubud attractions and restaurants. 2. Room: needs to make the shower standing bigger as its a small rock which can fit your feet only. 3. Food: it was okay, needs to be better, bread is not fresh and potato is not cooked well. We tried other things for lunch but its not good and hotel is far from any restaurants and not easy to order from outside. 4. Transportation: we didn't find issue using grab.
Advantage: 1. Property: the hotel looks very beautiful and cozy we loved it so much, it's a brand new hotel. The entrance is very nice and pool is amazing over looking the rice fields. They haven't finished all rooms yet. 2. Room: room is very very big and clean and has the view of the pool as well as beautiful view of the rice fields, they provide kettle with tea and coffee, also hair dryer and hair comb. 3. Staff: they're very very nice and so welcoming. 4. Food: the breakfast is included. 5. Massage: they don't provide yet. 6. Transportation: we used grab.

NetherlandsWhen we arrived, it felt like you're stepping in a sanctuary. Beautiful garden with a view to the rice fields. The owner and staff are really nice and will help with everything. The room is amazing. Great warm shower and a bathtub looking over the rice fields. Many activities are in a 15/20 minute scooter ride. The best place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature of Indonesia.

United KingdomMost of the cafes and restaurants are in Ubud so a taxi ride back is required.
This is a little hidden gem! If you are looking for a peaceful get away then this is the place. Set back off the road in the rice fields. The room was beautiful decorated with a super comfortable bed and balcony. The bath has views of the rice fields and tranquil garden (perfect for a romantic getaway) You will need a scooter of a taxi to get to Ubud however the owner is very accommodating/ approachable and happy to organise/provide a lift. The hotel is also next to the Elephant sanctuary and close to kemulilir coffee plantation. I would definitely stay again!

NetherlandsUnfortunately we had a "bad" room. Full of mildew . So if you suffer from asthma make sure you don't get this room!! If you drive a car like we did . Be careful google maps will direct you to a very bad road. There is no way to get to the place by car. So you will have to park your car in the middle of the rice fields.leaving it unattended.
It is a beautiful place lovely decorated in the middle of the rice fields.

United KingdomThe breakfast is of poor quality. I don't even want to know what that "fresh" orange juice is made of. I will just assume is 3/4 water and 1/4 orange juice.
We have mixed feelings with this place, thus the average rating we give for our stay at Nenggala. The views are nice, and the room is huge, with large balcony. We can't expect an incredible stay for such a cheap price. We've paid ~$40 per night while we've paid as much as $400 per night in Sanna Ubud and Magic Hills (Sidemen) Bed is comfy and room is pretty clean, which is great. AC works perfectly. The rice fields are beautiful, but we are not planning to be back. The food is...well, let's just say that we do not recommend it. We've ordered 5 different dishes in different days and none of them was edible apart from their own cuisine with the Mie Goreng (was passable/Ok) It can get tough because there's NOTHING nearby, and you might get really hungry and forced to eat pretty bad quality food. If ordering anything, ask for their own cuisine because they can't cook European/American food at all, and most of it is frozen. The chicken Schnitzel was simply horrible and we couldn't eat it. The Aglio y olio pasta was pretty much plain pasta with a LOT of Chilli. I love Chilli, but was too spicy even for me. They haven't asked once how the food was and they did see the plates full when collecting them. The staff in general is polite and available. They did take 15min for the check-out and process the payment though. It's not horrible, but it's not a place we plan to come back to, mostly because we was hungry and disappointed with the food every single day, and is quite far from everything. There's nothing more to do apart from seeing the rice fields and if you want to visit Mason Elephant Park which isn't far at all and it was the reason we booked Nenggala as we booked a full tour experience with the Elephants. We don't want to give the impression this place is horrible, because it's not. Just don't expect to find a 10/10 stay is our message.
