Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndonesiaThe packs of dogs roaming the roads at night were a bit of a hassle when on foot, but present no problem on a motorbike. All bark and no bite. So far. There were loads of mosquitoes, but heavy rain over the previous weeks meant they were everywhere around Bali. No fridge in the room but nor would I expect one for the price.
I love the location, and I'll explain why: the Pancor (pronounced "pan chore") is peaceful, away from the main drag with its tourist traffic / dive tours / restaurants / scooter hire and all the clamour that goes with that. But if you do want to chill for a bit in a deluxe touristy restaurant over a coffee or cocktail with the Instagram set, there is one next door, 100m up the hill, where the rooms cost about 100 times more. I went there a few times for dinner. Prices were the same as every other Western resto on the island. If you have a motorcycle or scooter, continuing up this road takes you on a nice relaxing ride over "Teletubbies Hill" to the scenic wonders of Manta Cliff. Unlike the potholed, busy roads from the fast boat port to the west, these roads are well-surfaced and quiet. The staff at Pancor are super polite and helpful. The cottages are private and secluded. The breakfast of pancakes, fresh fruit and Bali coffee works for me. While Pancor is not strictly a "resort", I prefer that: clean, simple, spacious rooms, quietly functional aircon and an outdoor setting with a lush view.

SpainBeautiful bungalows, nice bathroom with bath tub, comfortable beds, excellent location, friendly stuff. The breakfast is simple: eggs, one toast, some fruit and bali coffee without milk. It will be served on the balcony of your bungalow. We were allowed to do a late check out for some extra money, which we appreciated very much.

RussiaHot water in shower ends quite fast, but you have several minutes to take a shower which is ok. Would suggest putting the curtain or changing the ransparent door in the bathroom :)
Very nice value for money (paid 190k/night), helpful staff.

AustraliaIt was advertised as having more on the property, such as a spa and food, but it is only rooms. Ants and gecko poop in the room that I had to clean. Far away from attractions and beaches.
The hotel arranged all of our transportation for us through WhatsApp, perfect for first time on the islands. Breakfast every morning was great: eggs, toast, coffee, and fresh fruit. Staff family was very friendly, especially the young boy. Staff always offered room service every day and would make up the room if you were out. Offered discounted services like scooter rental, snorkeling, massage. About a ten minute scooter ride to the shops. Great resort right above the hotel with a restaurant and pool.

AustraliaVery friendly staff. We stayed here for 1 week and had a wonderful time. The room gets cleaned everyday, the breakfast is basic but very tasty. They come bring it to your private porch. We went diving very early and it was no problem for them to get an early breakfast. They rent out scooters too, for a very reasonable price (cheaper than the official scooter rental places). 100% would recommend! Also, not located in the busy area. So it was very quiet with a beautiful view of the volcano on the Bali mainland.

United KingdomUnfortunately one of the days when leaving our bungalow we spotted one of their chickens that they had decided to kill. However the poor bird wasn’t fully dead and had been left to flap around while bleeding out. It was incredibly distressing and upsetting to see, especially as we don’t eat meat. I understand that different cultures have different practices, but leaving it out for guests to see it struggling and bleeding was horrible. The blood was left on the path for the next couple of days too.
Lovely spacious bungalows with a great view out to sea. The family were super friendly and helpful. Although it’s out of town you can rent a scooter from them. They cleaned our room everyday which was nice.

United KingdomIf you don’t use motorbikes, it was a 25 minute walk to the harbour/ restaurants. But that didn’t bother us.
Fab place to stay for a couple of days. It’s gives you a good base to stay as well as good breakfast for the day ahead. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Good communication as well.

Sri Lanka- not cleaned once during 4 night stay, even when we were out all day (we did however decline cleaning twice because of delicate items we had in the room - see the second bullet point below). They could have at least swept the floor (gecko poops, ants, dead mosquitoes, sand from beaches....). I'm not saying they should make my bed or change sheets, no, just sweep the floor and empty the toilet paper basket. - the door to your bungalow is so easily opened (when locked!) that it's almost pointless to lock it. - you have to be very specific, what you want for breakfast, or you get 1 egg and 1 toast. On a snorkeling and exploring day that's enough food until 10am perhaps. - final disappointment and that's a big one - dead (fried) ants in fried eggs EVERY DAY. That's a matter than can be easily resolved - just wash the frying pan before use, it's not that hard. - only thick blanket on bed, no duvet
- beautiful accommodation - beautiful location, peaceful and serene, well maintained surroundings - fantastic price-performance - laundry service 20k/kilo and it smells heavenly - privacy (separated bungalows). - good AC We would stay again, but I'd request certain things differently and willingly pay more for them.

United KingdomThe property was a 20 minute walk from the main road so it would have been easier to explore the island if we were confident to drive a moped, which is at no fault of the property.
The property was super clean and in a good location, surrounded by the jungle, with a great view of the volcano. Staff were super helpful and even gave all 4 of us staying here a lift on their mopeds to the snorkelling company. Breakfast was free and hand delivered to us in the mornings to eat on the porch with a lovely view of the volcano and nature around us. It was quiet with the lovely sound of birdsong. Just a 2 minute walk was Deep Roots, where we were able to use the pool and restaurant, and we even got up at 6am to take part in their yoga class. The staff also organised a taxi back to the harbour for cheaper than the taxi services. I would definitely stay here again! The property also has moped rental.

GermanyWe were really suprised by the beauty of the resort when we first arrived. You have your own bungalow which has a nice size for two people and is always kept clean. The family is really nice and helpful, you can rent a scooter there (to get around) and you can have a comfortable sleep because it’s quiet in the night. We really liked our stay so we even extended for one night more !

RomaniaOn the property everything was perfect. The personal was nice when it comes to the things related to property but they provide also other facilities like scooter. Our experience was bad, we received at the first time a scooter with a lot of problems at 100.000 rupee, that mate makes strange sounds and the horn doesn’t work at all, we figure out next day that normally that scooter need to be on the service due to several problems. We told the lady from the reception about the issue and she provide us another scooter at 130.000, bigger that the first one. Well after one day crush, almost let us in the midle of the jungle. We arrive in the end at the villa, we told the lady about the issue, she made a test and she confirmed that the scooter is not good. We asked her for another scooter and she propose to take the first one, that have a lot of problems. I have explain to her that she put pur life in danger with that one because it needs to be fixed before going on the street, she begin to laugh with her system and she told me to took the the second scooter, as she has just pneumonia other scoopy but she need to go to shop with him, taking into consideration that was Sunday, at 19:30. We explain that also the second one is broken and it doesn’t work, the engine stop multiple time when we tried to go back to the villa, she laugh again with her sister and after 20 min of negotiations she decide to give us the scoopy. If there was not Sunday evening we definitely arrange for a scooter with other person. So at this point I don’t recommend you to rent any scooter from them because all pf them a old and have a lot of problems. You can find cheaper scooter in the city that are new ar this money.
The property is very good for the money that you pay. It is very clear, with air conditioning, confortabile bed and a lot of plants surrounding the villa.
