Papas Villas was a very tranquil beautiful place to stay, we did 4 nights here and loved it, Wayan and his family were fantastic & looked after us and made our stay memorable. Would definitely stay again.

No restaurants or shops within walking distance and traffic to go into Ubud horrendous.

Very friendly staff. The meals were very nice, stunning view over the rice fields, nice private pool. Spacious room. We also got a nice massage in the room.

Staff is amazing. Rooms amazing. Everything new. They have 3 villas run by a family. 500m from rice field tours. Bathroom is closed (no bugs). They can provide guide for trekking (150k rp) and car for harbour. Many thanks to Kadek. They have also a walter filter inside room. Very cool. Ac is good. All.good.

If you're looking for your own little piece of paradise, look no further. Papas Villas is everything you could ever dream of and more... we stayed for 2 weeks, in the little house with its own pool, surrounded by the sheer beauty of peace. A gorgeous little house (I believe it's called an apartment when you book), beautifully furnished and maintained with outside space that appeared to go on forever - I felt myself completely unwind. The staff, who are also the owners, do everything for you - from bringing delicious meals right to you to organising and providing days out and sightseeing trips, even if that is only a short car ride to a good restaurant for lunch or dinner - all in your own time, with no pressure to do anything. We utterly loved the time we were at Papas Villas and know, absolutely we would never stay anywhere else on Bali. Thank you everyone, it was really, really hard to leave.

We liked everything, the beautiful villa, the pool, the delicious food but especially the family who owns the villas. Exeptional service by an amazing family. We recommend when you stay here to go for a guided rice field tour with Ketut and to try the delicious homemade food!

The family running the place is incredibly nice and bend their back over backwards to accommodate your requests. The hostess cooks amazingly and only traditional food and the host is present early to touch up the place with some flowery decorations. Other family members help by providing transport and visits, all for a very reasonable fee, the former being cheaper than other taxi services (Gojek, etc.).

The hosts were lovely, and friendly which made us feel right at home. The villa was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with a stunning view. Perfect getaway and definitely would stay at the papa's villa again.

A little noisy conditioner

These are 2 villas located very close to the famous rice terraces. Great view! We thought we would be a little cut off from civilization. But no! Nearby are cafes, restaurants, attractions. Privately managed. The staff is wonderful! They are ready to provide services and you can order a delicious dish from the menu. Cozy, clean, homely. We didn't want to leave! Thank you! Everything was wonderful!

Nothing, really worth it to spend some nights here, even though it isnt very centric (or so we thought and that is why we divided our ubud stay between 2 hotels), there are transport options nearby.

Absolutely loved the stay at Papas. There is a rice field just on the other side of the street. Better this than the touristy one with the swing and that felt like an amusement park (we went to both but the one right next to the hotel is a true rice field, loved it). Crickets and sound of nature at night was comforting. Very accommodating on serving breakfast at the pool.

Its a bit far from Ubud, but we knew that and wanted to stay near the rice terraces and see the village.

The family hosting was so kind and helpful with everything we needed, from transport to sightseeing 🥰 we stayed in the room with pool view and it is gorgeous with a giant bed and big modern indoor shower! (Also: No animals indoors ☺️) Realy good value for money. You can also order some food and drinks, even get them delivered to your room. Katut took us for a walk trough the fields and village and it was lovely. Wayat welcomed us, Kade cooked for us and gave us tips and uncle took us around everywhere we needed to go. ☀️The prices were very aforfable. If you want a resort feel room with a bit of local experience, this is it! All in all it was a great stay and a great experience! 🌸

The place is top.

The location was amazing, 5 minutes drive from the busy rice terraces. This place is so peaceful that we almost regret staying there only 2 nights. Kadek and her family were some of the best people we met in Bali. They took care of us like we were family of their own; when I got there I was really sick from the food and Kadek made some special meals for me and after 2 days I was healthy and energized again to continue our trip. Definitely recommend 🙏

The family managing the place is amazing. It is a small place and we felt like home. The food is amazing there. We absolutely loved our stay. The location next to tegalalang rice terrasse is perfect.
