The bathroom in the main bedroom was a little unclean.

The Villa we stayed in is older and in need of some maintenance - woodwork is in poor condition, toilets don’t work properly, shower flooded. decor could do with an upgrade.

Our butler Made was amazing. He cooked an amazing breakfast every morning, he was so warm, friendly and caring. He made the entire stay so much better for our whole family and definelyt left a lasting memory with us, we are so thankful for all of his efforts during our stay.

Water pressure in the showers could be better.

The service was amazing. The staff were very helpful and helped us out with each and everything we asked for. Our "butler" Honey was very sweet and made us delicious food everyday along with keeping the place immaculate. The location of the villa was convenient and accessible. Beds were comfortable. Pool and yard were cleaned daily. Pool was great.

The beds. The beds are extremely hard and the springs feel as if they have no layering over them.

We had a wonderful trip at Villa Menari. The weather was a bit iffy, but you can't blame that on the accommodation. Eva was absolutely fabulous and a great cook. Once she knew we liked our food spicy she was happy to accommodate! The breakfasts were fabulous and plentiful. The facilities were great. The pool got the morning sun and you could go to the rooftop for all day sun. The tv was great and my son used his Chromecast so we could view movies in the being. There was also a wonderful Bluetooth speaker which we used to listen to music. The villa is a little tired and needs some maintenance attention but that doesn't impact on comfort level. The only thing that does impact on comfort are the uncomfortable beds. It felt as though the master mattress had worn out. I could feel the springs. I have a very arthritic hip and it was very hard to find a comfortable position on the hard and uncomfortable mattress. We also had the chef Gede come and cook for us on two occasions (organised through The Residence). The food was fabulous, authentically Indonesian and it was just such a treat to create a menu that we wanted. What a lovely place! We will be back!

The villa was a perfect oasis - we travelled as a group of 5 and were really comfortable. It is in a central but quiet location, lots of space with 3 bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a beautiful private pool, and the friendliest staff! Made (Villa Siam butler) especially made the place feel like home, he really looked after us and cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning - best nasi goreng! Can’t wait to return!

We stayed at Villa Amman. We love that the villa is huge and comes with a big pool. It is very clean and comes with free butler service. Our butler Seri was very good and cooked well for our breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, close to many restaurants and shops.

Rumul was at reception and took us to our Villa on arrival. No waiting at all. She was so thrilled to see us and accomodate our family of 6 as guests at Villa Siam. While we sipped on our refreshing welcome fruit juices while she explained everything thoroughly and also gave us information about local restaurants. Our breakfast chef Maday was amazing. He was so kind and thoughtful. The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. His attention to detail was excellent. He arrived as arranged and professionally prepared our 6 breakfasts and we all had something different. Breakfast Nasi Goreng 10/10. Maday's housekeeping of our Villa was also excellent. He takes a lot of pride in his work. The beds were so comfortable and the linen of high quality. The bathrooms were so spacious with each of the 3 bedrooms having their own. The gardener was fantastic and kept the pool and gardens looking magnificent. The pool temperature was perfect and refreshing. We highly recommend Villa Siam at The Residence.

The location firstly was excellent. Close to shopping, bars, restaurants and anything else you’d need. The villa itself was beautifully well kept. I stayed in a 3 bedroom one, loads of space for two people to relax by the pool (or in), chill out in the lounge, escape to the rooftop sitting area, or have a lazy long sleep in. facilities including outdoor showers and open bathrooms were also neat and spacious and clean. Very tropical hideaway vibes!

The tiles near the pool are very dangerous and slippery, we ended up putting towels down all over the tiles to prevent slips. Beds were not comfortable. They are currently doing Refurbishment of other villas and all need a freshen up. We had a great time with our family and con not stress how good our butler budi was. The Aussie owner of villa needs to spend a few $$ to bring it up to the standard to match the workers standards.

The cost of the unit was for a 5 star excellent condition villa however the villa has been rented for a while and could do with some renovation ie. bathrooms and tabs (due to calcification the shower head was not working well in both bathrooms), swimming pool tiles need a thorough cleaning from moss, water feature (needs to be reset as water was runs only on one side), TVs could be replaced with smart TVs so that guests could stream from internet and have better picture quality, Kitchen appliances were old and one would worry if they are safe to use (some power plugs ie. behind the microwave was hanging out of the wall so very unsafe).
