Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaIt is little off from the main road. Car cannot reach the hotel. You have to walk 100+ meters with luggage.
Clean and green. Friendly staff.

AustraliaBreakfast should be included. The one we had at the Runik left a lot to be desired. Couple of wine glasses and corkscrew would have been useful, but these are all minor things and I am leaving these as suggestions to make the stay even better.
What a wonderful spot is the Runik. Very close to all the action of Jalan Bisma but hidden off the main drag down a small alleyway that means it is so quiet when you are there. Beautiful location, cool pool to swim in, very friendly and helpful staff (shout out to Wayan and JoJo) and very reasonably priced. We loved it and will be back. Great Warung nearby - Warung Gauthrie (just watch out for the pug dog that steals your slippers!!!).

SwitzerlandThe choice of breakfast is a little poor but you have great places near by to go to for an amazing breakfast :)
The fact that we had the whole building for ourselves (four rooms) and the staff was really nice ! The location is great ! The hotel is a 5 mins walk from the main street and you have great bars and restaurants near by.

ItalyThere are cheaper options on Ubud but my stay here was definitely worth it! It's Bali, so insects (ants, geckos) are normal. You won't find a place without them! The Runik is very clean and they changed your bedding/towels every day even though it's inevitable finding some insects in the room.
The hotel is beautiful and well kept. It's in a super central position but away from the chaos and noise. It has a beautiful calm and relaxing garden with a nice and clean pool! The staff was lovely and always attentive and available for any type of need! As a solo female traveller they made me feel at home! Breakfast is also very nice (although a bit small is quite filling)!

AustraliaNothing to dislike
The property is beautiful and location is awesome. Bisma is in the heart of Ubud and has many cafes, restaurants, spas, pharmacies, yoga and convenience stores around. The property shows a tranquil view of the rice paddies in a quiet position off Bisma. There is a laundry next door to property. The pool and rooms are maintained to an exceptional standard. The cleanliness and detail is impressive. The highlight of this hotel are the staff, they are hard working, happy, welcoming and genuine. I enjoyed their cheerful energy and chatting with them daily. I’ll be back again, so impressed by The Runik Ubud.

LatviaProbably it’s a common thing around Bali, but I got bit by the ants while suntanning by the pool. Be aware of it and use not only sun protection cream, but an insect repellent as well! Also I received no information about breakfast when checking in and was too lazy to ask. What I saw there is no kitchen and they get food delivered from some other place. 2 350ml bottles of water are offered every day for free. I would prefer a water cooler in every room, it would be better.
The room is amazing, it’s huge, has a balcony, and a bath! Great sunset view. Very good aircon. The property is in the center of Ubud but hidden in a small street, so it’s very quiet. You can’t come here by car but staff will happily help you with luggage, just contact them beforehand

BrazilThe standard room was not so nice (enough size but not very good) and shower was not so good. But the higher level one, at second floor with a bath was FANTASTIC. Bed super confy, big size, charming, nice view, quite and private; and the bathroom Espetacular. I also prefere small hotels, this one has few rooms, so you feel at home.
I didint have breakfast there. The pool is beautiful and very clean.

We slept better than we have in months! Clean room, comfortable bed with pillow selection, nice bathroom with great rain shower and bathtub (suite), great pool, quiet surroundings, and a 10 minute walk to the center. You can have breakfast by the pool or on your own balcony. Mini market, restaurants, cafes, and spas can be found around the corner.

Chinathe bathrooms have a strong moldy smell and may give guests allergies。only 2 small bottles of water provided which makes us buy plastic bottled water. also, one way plastics used for bathroom supplies. PLEASE AVOID plastics! Bali's tourism and lack of proper waste treatment turns it into a large plastic dump. PLEASE give us REFILLABLE WATER OPTIONS, we would be happy to pay for water refills. Breakfast ame lukewarm and every single plate was wrapped in cellophane (please avoid plastics). We went elsewhere for breakfast after the first morning.
the property is located in a nice part of town, accessible only on foot. the gardens are pretty and the.rooms nice, beds have a mosquito net. staff was very friendly and helpful. good restaurants and a laundry are right around.the corner. internet was decent.
