AustraliaIf you are looking to stay in Canggu close to the beach/bars then this is a great spot. We had our own private pool which was perfect as we were there during Nyepi (day of silence) unfortunately there was no outdoor seating provided, just a couple of skinny cushions which didn’t provide much comfort on the hard concrete. The restaurant provided very yummy modern Mexican and we could basically order any time we liked. I ended up with Bali belly on my day of check out and the staff were absolutely so understanding and accommodating to my needs, which I really appreciate. Definitely a good spot for a short stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Slow! Stunning interior design, fully equipped room, wonderful staff, great location close to cafes/restaurants/beach clubs and Maize (the restaurant out front) is amazing!

Everything about the Slow was lovely. The staff are exceptional and so polite, and the food and drink at Maize are excellent. The live jazz on Thursday was also great. Highly highly recommend - great location in Canggu close to the beach and nice restaurants. The staff can also recommend whatever you need - surf lessons, restaurants etc.

Hong KongIf you accept that there's going to be some road noise and music from the bar/club across the street, then there's nothing that stood out as an area of improvement.
Loved the architecture of the hotel - minimalist modern design, lots of polished concrete and refined stylish fittings. Super comfy bed, large clean bathrooms and bedrooms. The DIY espresso martini kit on arrival at the room was a nice touch! Location is very convenient, with a lot of restaurant and shopping options nearby. Don't bother with taxis if you can avoid it - hop on the Grab bikes and save yourself time and money for zipping around Canggu. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor (Maize) had great cocktails and food - surprisingly always empty, which seemed a shame.

I think this is one detail that really needs to be addressed- also the owner of the restaurant was different to that of the property so if you ordered a coffee from room service you could not charge it to the room/ settle on check out. It wasn’t a huge inconvenience but I think it would be great if there was a coffee machine in each room for convenience.
The location of the property was perfect, really central and a close walk to the beach. The interiors were beautiful, every nook had art pieces or installations which made the experience really special. There was a curated playlist that you could switch on in your room as well. The team really looked after their guests !
