Super nitpicky here but a few mosquitos in the bunk rooms at night, though I'm not sure what can be done about that.

The staff makes the place; they make you feel right at home in a foreign country. All the facilities are superb, clean, and secure. Occasionally, there's a cute little dog around, which is a huge bonus if you're missing your dogs at home. Plenty of opportunities to meet people, with the staff facilitating it through games, music, and, drinks. Bunk rooms well airconditioned.

I had a great time at this hostel! Steph and Senu are amazing hosts and would highly recommend this place if you want to meet great people from all around the world and have a whole bunch of drinks. Will definitely be revisiting again.

There can be construction noise during the day sometimes but it's Canggu, anywhere you stay will have a little bit of that.

Really fun place! Everyone is super friendly and gets together to play games, go on adventures and head out in the evening. Pretty close to all the popular bars and clubs too but far enough away that you don't hear them at night. And the staff really go above and beyond to look after you :)

Such a great vibe, staff made sure everybody was having fun and felt included, they had good card / board games. Everybody was really kind and the place was clean and comfortable. There was a skilled and professional tattoo artist a few nights who did a clean job, so that was a great addition.

Staff were excellent and it was a very sociable place. It was easy to have a conversation with the residents. I arrived earlier than my checkin timing, but the manager was kind enough to offer me a room 5 hours earlier. The property is in a good location and very easily approachable to the beach.

Words aren’t enough on what I like about Tipsy Gypsy! From the time I checked in till my stay has been nothing but CRAZYYYYY!! Stef, Yudi, Sena, Saki have all been the greatest host ever! From the cheap beers to the shots to games that we played have been nothing but memorable! I extended my stay by 3 more days and I can say that there was no regrets at all! Everyone who stayed in the hostel also had the same mindset! So tipsy gypsy was an ideal place to meet people from all over the world! 11 days has gone by so fast! The tattoo nights was also so popular and I ended up getting an unexpected tattoo as well! Can’t wait to be back in Bali again especially to Tipsy Gypsy! A quote from Yudi. “If I was a duck and the ocean was a beer, i will swim all the way down to the bottom and drink on the way up, the ocean is not a beer and I am not a duck, so let’s take this f****** shot and get f****** up” With that! Adios lovely people of Tipsy and this isn’t goodbye but see you soon!

Mosquitos in the room. Toilet seat could be replaced.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms an nice and bed is comfy. Toilets and showers cleaned every day. Big box for luggage. Location close to everything in Canggu Banjar. Very Social place. Nice refreshing pool. Super price value.
