Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThere wasn't much to choose from for breakfast, but it was good, served in a room. The coffee was great, and all was perfect for the start of the day! There were a few small inconveniences but overall the room, garden, and pool were perfect! Close to busy street but inside the complex very peaceful and quiet, Staff were friendly and good, location just 5-7min walk from busy centre of Ubud. Great value for the price, would come there back again!!!

AustraliaThe attention to detail, more cleaning could be done, I had holes in my towels and they smelt like they had sat in the washing machine too long and not dried quick enough.
I loved the lush tropical garden and that is was a small hotel of only 8 rooms

United StatesThe WiFi didn't work in my room, only a bit on my balcony, but the other rooms in my group had good WiFi, I would avoid the rooms with the pool view if you want WiFi during your stay. The safe in our room was a bit difficult to use and it even took the staff like 15 minutes to figure it out. There was a leak in the ceiling of our bathroom in a few places, constant dripping on the sink and floor. My shower was usable but a bit broken, you couldn't switch between the overhead and the foot faucet, they were both on at all times so the pressure wasn't great.
The atmosphere of the place was really nice, it was on a main road, only like 15-20 minute walk from the action in Ubud, but it was still quite quiet, except for a bit of construction happening next door which didn't carry on too long anyway. The pool was nice (cold) and surrounded by vegetation. The bed was comfortable with two size pillows for those who are picky about that kind of thing (as I am). The room was pretty dark at night as well, the curtains did a pretty good job of blocking out light. I loved the artwork above my bed, it was a very raunchy Hindu gods scene, probably not appropriate for families, and I won't post it here because my review may get flagged, hah! The staff were very helpful and friendly, they let us use plates when we got takeaway, and they helped me figure out how to use the safe which was quite confusing.

AustraliaThe sliding door could lock, however you could slide it past the stoppers which created access to the room from the sides. The Terrace seat was broken. There were so many bugs and ants crawling around in the bathroom (floors And walls). We stayed for four days and they didn't clean out room or restock amenitties supplies e.i toilet paper, soaps, towels. No storage space to put our bags, (that weren't in the bathroom). We couldn't access the safe as it was already locked. Having a fridge would’ve been.
The location was great, rooms were private and had own entrence. The property layout was scenic and pretty (lots of plants). The pool was nice and clean. The bathroom was spacious and had a nice flow. Great aircon, the staff were friendly, bed was spacious and comfortable.

GermanyShower was smelly and when we arrived for a 2 day stay they told us that we need to change rooms after one day to a different hotel, which was really unpractical. Communication at the front desk is difficult as the English is semi good. Also we had to wait for 15 minutes to drop our bags and check out in the morning as there was nobody there.
Quiet and nice rooms with pool infront. Also they stored our luggage while we were on a trip and already had it in our new room when we arrived again. Good price.

United KingdomThe road to Ubud was being renovated so we had to pass through a lot of open manholes.
This small hotel was nice and clean, it is worth upgrading to superior room, as the view is much more pleasant :) especially during the rain. Location is in a walking distance from central Ubud area. Close to a big supermarket.

AustriaEven though the hotel is only 20 minutes from the center it is located on one of the busiest streets in Ubud. If you plan on always going by car then I think this is not a problem but we do like to walk and for that the location was too busy for us. But as already mentioned - if you don't want to walk anyway then this hotel is a really good choice.
The hotel itself is really quite, small and has a nice garden and pool. They offer all sorts of activities and scooter rental as well as laundry service. There is a restaurant but we never saw any stuff there. Since it is located near the garden it would have been nice if there was an offering.
