Nothing. Some may find fault with the distance to the city and means of getting there, but for me, the peace and quiet were much appreciated.

Fabulous owners; staff, facilities, and , of course, the view! I can’t say enough about the helpfulness and friendliness of Robert, the owner, and his family. Ilhan and Aziz(?spelling?) were great to talk with and very attentive. Wonderful people all around!

Lovely stay with the best view in Padang! Robert our host was just a really nice guy and helped us out where he could, he picked us up at the ferry port and brought us to the airport. We even went with him and his family for dinner one night which we enjoyed a lot, good times. We hope to be back one day. Dries and Caro

Little Walk/ Hike Downtown to be very honest, it's not a sort of 10-20 minutes walk downtown, you really do need local transport down and up to Panang City... but the prices are more than affordable, and very often the owner is going downtown. SCOOTER: 12.000 - 15.000 CAR: 25.000 - 40.000 HITCHHIKING: 0 - 10.000

All was good!

Very beautiful and tranquil spot just outside of Padang city. The view here is unbeatable and the staff is hands down amazing. Rooms are standard but very try comfortable and clean. Owner and staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate you with all your needs. They will give to advise on places to go and see around Padang or help you to organise your trip. Best thing is to have a nice cold beer after a long day and enjoy the stunning sunset.

Robert and his team were all very welcoming and helpful, providing advice on what to do in the local area and making us delicious pancakes every morning, including at 5am on the day of our departure. The room we were in had the most comfortable mattress and pillows, and the quietest air con. Both our room and the shared spaces were very clean, and importantly there was a water dispenser, with both cold and hot water available. The whole guesthouse had a lovely homely vibe and an excellent outdoor seating area with the best views to the ocean and the sound of birds and monkeys. It’s pretty much surrounded by a jungle. We spent 3 days just chilling on the shared terrace. Vegetarian options for lunch and dinner were limited in the local area, but Robert gave us a list of recommended restaurants from which we were able to order food to the guesthouse. The transfer to the airport was safe and convenient.

Excellent location about 10 minutes away from Padang. After spending some time in the traffic of Padang, it is refreshing to get there and admire the ocean from the terrace. The family running the business is lovely and willing to help with anything needed. The price is very honest. 5 minutes walk from the property there's a nice bar with a restaurant.

Warm and welcoming- like an old fashioned B and B within a lovely family home with great ‘locals only’ knowledge. Ocean views stunning! Fantastic value for the price and safe for the single traveler. They even have air conditioning and hot water shower!

The property has an extremely nice view on the city and ocean. Either with motorcycle or by foot, you can reach the city very well. Robert, the owner, is very kind and knowledgeable. He gave a lot of information on individual travel planning in and around Padang. He even brought me with motorcycle to a restaurant given my respect of barking dogs. :)
