Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe food was a bit meh. Probably just personal preference though. The restaurant staff was great though - super nice and friendly! AC for the gym would be nice. After my run I was so sweaty I looked like I’d jumped in the pool.
I loved the location in the rice fields; pool was nice; my room was very comfortable and clean and luxurious; balcony was nice for relaxing and reading; restaurant setting & view were great. Staff was very friendly. Good value for money.

AustraliaNothing! It was perfect.
Gorgeous location, phenomenally attentive and warm staff, clean and luxurious amenities, and delicious food. The breakfasts were fantastic each morning; fresh juice, Balinese coffee, pastries, and a large assortment of Western or Indonesian meals to suit. The room itself was spacious and had a large stone tub, perfect for soaking in with complimentary Frangipani bath salts and foam. The gym, though small, had an amazing view and was clean with fresh water and towels laid out for convenience. We tried a variety of activities, such as the morning walk, the cycling to a waterfall, and a traditional cooking class, all of which were engaging and worth the money, particularly the cooking class which resulted in a delicious meal overlooking the rice fields. The staff were attentive throughout the stay; we ordered room service which came promptly, they were always available to answer questions, and genuinely warm and smiling. When my mother was unable to cycle to the waterfall due to an outstanding injury, they were quick to offer a complimentary car ride to the waterfall while I cycled so she could still enjoy the experience. Moreover, when she had a migraine the staff offered complimentary ginger teas and rice porridge. The pool was big, the massage we got was peaceful, and the shuttle to Ubud township was convenient. We will be staying again!

SwitzerlandWakanda will be one of those experiences that are hard to forget. 20 minutes from the chaotic center of Ubud in a rural naturalistic context, there is this wonderful resort. Welcoming us with a Balinese welcome ritual was the friendly Mila, who together with the other guys from the front office, made us feel at home from the first moment, always offering us the best suggestions on tours and places to visit and always careful to make sure that everything was to our liking. The Resort is wonderful, in authentic Balinese style, with a spectacular view of the rice fields. The structure has a restaurant, a beautiful swimming pool, SPA and gym. In addition, a rich program of activities, such as Balinese cooking classes, massages, excursions and dinners with dance shows and live music, will contribute to making your experience at Wakanda an unforgettable experience! An important detail was meeting the manager of the structure Mr. Tagel, who on various occasions made sure that everything was to our liking, he was also able to convey his passion and love for this splendid project that is Wakanda. The project is 100% Balinese, and it shows. The Wakanda staff will make sure you experience an authentic full immersion in the culture of Bali. The restaurant offers an interesting selection of delicious traditional Indonesian dishes. The breakfasts are delicious and varied. Try the smoothie bowl of dragon fruit, spectacular! Compliments to the service guys, who will infect you with their cheerfulness! In particular I would like to thank Yanti and Adi with whom we had interesting conversations and who we will always carry in our hearts! I recommend trying the experience of the Balinese Cooking Class taught by chef Kadek juliawan and his assistant Prabu, who will reveal the secrets of the island's gastronomy with love and passion for their land.

SwitzerlandThe free yoga lesson was a bit disappointing, different level then during the private one. It takes even up to 1h to get to Ubud, 30 min is only at night with no traffic
Our stay in Wakanda was great! The stuff, food and surroundings were amazing! Private yoga lesson and massage were on very high level.

United Arab EmiratesSince we were not used to tropical environments, we saw insets and ants alot in our room which was comforting for us, specially when it rains. But i understand that its mother nature and we are staying in the middle of it.
I liked that we were in the middle of the rice fields, feels so aesthetic and authentic. The staff were really helpful and friendly as well as the room was very good.

SpainThe only thing I'd say is that maybe the lighting needs improvement in the bathroom area, especially for us ladies who like to do our makeup and/or have a skincare routine etc. Also, the gym needs an AC unit - it gets incredibly hot in there. And finally, I'd say that the personalization was lacking (I had filled out a form before arrival saying that I was gluten intolerant but it wasn't taken into account with the meal they gave me on arrival and in other moments, I think it's important to use the information provided if you ask for it).
I loved the room, it was incredibly spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The common pool is really big and has a beautiful view to the rice fields. I enjoyed how quiet the area is, waking up to birds chirping and at times the sound of rain. The breakfast was delicious and the services I received at the spa were divine! One of the best spa experiences I've had in Bali.

AustraliaSince the bathtub is right by the window, I would recommend the resort putting up some mesh or something so anyone passing by can’t see you taking a bath/ shower during the day.
The resort was absolutely gorgeous. We love our deluxe room. We stayed here for my birthday and the staff went above and beyond with decorating everything for a small fee. Madu spa was amazing, as well as the yoga classes and transport shuttle to Ubud. The photo shoot was a lovely surprise. Thank you Dicky for the beautiful picture!

HungaryWe had a wonderful stay at The Wakanda resort. The place is truly unique, calm, quiet and so beautiful. Just besides rice field - and not full of mosquitos as one would think - the atmosphere is so peaceful. The room was spacious and always immaculate clean, all the staff members went beyond to meet all our requests. They were super friendly and always smiling. It felt so special to be blessed on our first arrival to the hotel. They can arrange literally any activities you ask for, from hiking to a volcano to a balinese purification ceremony (in a small temple, completely alone, no hoards of tourists). Breakfast menu is plenty and everybody can find something they prefer, dining menu is also huge and the food is very nicely made, everything taste good (and I am very picky). The gym has brand new equipment. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is visiting Ubud area. Note though it's about 10km from Ubud center which can take a while with scooter to reach, but the hotel also has a shuttle 3 times a day to take you there. Thank you to everybody who made our stay so enjoyable!

ItalyOur stay was absolutely perfect in every way. The room and view of the rice fields were stunning, and the staff went above and beyond: always smiling, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options from Balinese dishes to international cuisine. Additional perks, such as a yoga class and a complimentary photo session where you could choose your favorite picture, made the experience even more special. Afternoon tea with traditional Balinese sweets added a lovely touch. While this should undoubtedly be a 5-star hotel, it felt like home. Out of all our travels in Bali, this was by far our favorite stay, and I cannot recommend it enough!

PolandIt should be noted that every room regardless of the category lacks doors in the toilet zone. It is uncomfortable even when staying with a partner. Breakfasts are served a-la-carte with limited options and varieties. Juices and other drinks are often mixed with water which is a bit ridiculous for the 4-star hotel.
It is a charming and comfortable venue with spacious rooms, a magnificent atmosphere and cheerful personnel:) The comfortable pool zone, rice terrace views, pleasant service and a limited number of guests (mostly couples) make staying here pleasant and calm.

United StatesNot that I didn't like it, just keep in mind that you have to take grab/taxi to reach some destinations like monkey forest, Ubud Palace, city centre, it might take time if you travel during rush hour. But! There are many amazing restaurnats you kust check out in the city, just make sure to travel when the roads are less busy.
Very serene and secluded place, perfect for those seeking rest, escape from the crowd and all the adult life stress. Surrounded by rice fields, nature, very beautiful place, you feel like you came to a magical world.
