Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWater faucet on showers need replacing and water was on/off hit/miss hot cold. First world problem but thought to mention. Also a little noisy but not overthetop regarding location convenience- noise dies down after 9:30.
Location - excellent coffee across the road , although a little on the pricey side for Bali. But then I guess you have to pay for westernised coffee offerings. Location was excellent to most things. Loved the bungalow intimacy it was very cute.

New ZealandIt was tiring after a while having to go outside and down a big flight of stairs to use the toilet, especially at night.
We liked the spaciousness of the room, the bed was very comfortable and they had great facilities onsite, such as pool and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

AustraliaPerhaps the white towels need to be changed as they’re quite old and don’t reflect the image of a boutique hotel.
I stayed at deluxe double room opposite the pool. I liked it. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. The bed and pillows very comfy (the linen felt luxurious). Yes, there were mosquitoes but this is Bali, there’s nets in the bed so that’s ok. The staff Wayan and others were also nice and respectful. Thank you! Ps. The place also close to all the nice places to eat (Bali Eco Deli, Kayu, Let’s Bake, Ginger & Jamu etc).

AustraliaThe pool had way too much chlorine and we could hear loud music from the hotel nearby.
We loved that it was a bit different to normal accommodation. Wayan was a fantastic help to us and solved any problems we had.

SpainWe got the twin bed room and the smell of damp was not on the healthy side. Luckily we asked for a change of room and problem solved (but if I had to stay there I would have left). Staff was friendly and helpful.

AustraliaThe downstairs bathroom was a little inconvenient for the nighttime but we only stayed for two nights.
Lovely large second floor hut overlooking the pool. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The Lionfish restaurant which is part of the hotel was nice also. It's in a great location, close to other restaurants and the beach.

CroatiaFood was not the greatest, but it was not a dealbreaker as there are loads of other restaurants around. Everything else was great!
Bungalows are very cosy and cute, very comfortable beds. Staff was excellent, especially reception. Location wise it was perfect as it takes you less than 5 minutes to get to the beach (go to Beach Shack). We really loved our stay here!

Australiaalthough its on the beach side, there is no access through hotel. you have to walk out front and turn down a side lane to get to the beach.
location was great for restaurants and spas .its a small resort, so very private. we stayed in a suite , the bedroom was upstairs and was very big and spacious.they supply a huge water bottle for your stay rather than a small bottle everyday. we didnt get breakfast so we ate out elsewhere there are lots of choices elsewhere..

AustraliaLoved the pool area with access to the restaurant/bar, the food and drinks were delicious. The outdoor bathroom added to the rustic and authentic island vibe. Great location in general and short walk to the beach. Lots of Taxi/scooter options around. Staff were so lovely and helpful. The "General" restaurant delivered to our Room which was so handy on the last day to maximize our time packing etc.

SpainOur stay started with very loud construction noise during the whole afternoon and until 11pm (also due to being located on a busy street). I understand that they can’t do much about it but a little heads up or acknowledgement would have been nice. The bathroom situation when on the second floor is explained in the booking and acceptable but there are a few things that could be improved. The bathroom doesn’t have a key (just a lock) so you can’t really leave your belongings behind. When it gets dark you are provided with a flashlight but it would be much more helpful to have some motion detector lights along the stairs into the bathroom as the flashlight isn’t the most comfortable solution. As to the room, although beautiful, the floors are quite creaky, there is only one plug next to the bed (for the bedside table lamp), and our sheets had some stains. Again, I don’t want to complain too much but rather give some feedback on things that I noticed.
Tigerlillys is a beautiful boutique hotel with eye for detail and very nice staff. They have delicious food and some days some special offers like their bao bun and beer for 20k. The rooms are spacious and give you a nice beachy vibe.

SwitzerlandWe were explicitly told in advance that the bathroom was on the lower floor - but I didn't realize that it didn't have private access. Contact with Tigerlillys in advance via Whatsapp and email had quite a long response latency. At the pool you are quite exposed to the restaurant guests. Sometimes a bit noisy as it's right on the main road.
Very nice, traditional room with comfortable bed. Good restaurant on the premises. Clean, small pool. Very friendly staff. Motorcycle rental service uncomplicated. Very clean.

AustraliaWe thought Tigerlillys was on the beach and its online site seemed to indicate the same. The outside toilet and shower is downstairs and had to be accessed via an external staircase.
The staff were terrific. Agus, the man in the reception was particularly friendly and helpful. Our stay was better for him being on staff. He went out of his way to help us.

IrelandThere wasn't anything I didn't like really but I would recommend if you're someone who needs to use the bathroom a lot at night to maybe get a ground floor room. They advertise it very clearly but if you have a top floor room, you have to go outside and down some stairs to get to the bathroom which can be a pain in the middle of the night. I knew this booking the room so it was fine but just a heads up! Especially if you have any mobility issues. The air con is directly over the bed, so it can be tricky at night to get the balance right between keeping cool but also not being freezing. If anything I'd recommend the hotel give out heavier blankets to help with this maybe. It also gets quite warm during the day since the room isn't air tight, but that's only if you're moving around a lot.
The first thing I have to mention is the food in the Lionfish restaurant attached to the hotel, it's absolutely delicious! I would normally eat elsewhere when travelling but I came back again and again. The staff were super friendly and helpful and made me feel very at ease. My room felt like a luxurious treehouse, very cosy with a great little daybed to read a book on. The bed itself was comfy with a very useful mosquito net. There was air con and a fan, and a VERY useful 11L tank of water that was refilled if it ever emptied. This meant I didn't have to buy bottled water at all and could just refill my own bottle as often as I wanted, sounds small but it was really useful. The pool was nice and the location was great. I was there for scuba diving and it was right around the corner from the dive shop and beach. Very easy to get to from where the fast boats arrive from Sanur. The staff arranged taxis for me when needed which was handy. The room was kept clean and tidy every day and there's lots of nice greenery on the hotel grounds to keep it shady and pretty to look at. Overall I really enjoyed my time here!

AustraliaI would have liked a bathroom attached - but understand this is not possible with an upstairs room. The rooms were quite noisy - you can hear the street and the bands / music from places down the road. It's usually quiet by midnight though. Quite expensive comparatively.

AustraliaTraffic noise was a little loud as on main road but still managed to sleep well. The mosquito net around the bed was a bit old and grubby.
Central location, lovely staff, nice atmosphere. Cafe served good food and had a really cool/relaxed vibe. Unlimited drinking water in room with tea/coffee/kettle/fridge. Comfy bed and pillows. Lovely toiletries supplied. Reception always helpful and happy to help with any questions and organise taxi's or advise on day trips.

IndiaThe bathroom situation is bad, no jet, open air washrooms, feels unsafe at night as well. They say they’re at the beach but the hotel is actually on the road and they have a shack at the beach which isn’t connected to the hotel so it was quite the bummer since you look forward to eating the not including breakfast at the beach shack.
Location is good since it’s near the right spot.
