Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. United KingdomAbsolutely loved the pools and grounds, staff amazing couldn’t do enough for us. Food for breakfast spectacular amazing choice and really fresh and tasty. The only downside was the condition of the room it really needed some TLC. Really rough around the edges but they are updating so I’m sure in time this will be addressed.

AustraliaIt was going under renovations which wasn’t a biggie It was the nightclub out & across rd that you could still hear all hours … not loud but that base thump noise of music.
The staff are amazing, especially in the restaurant. So helpful & attentive. They. Opulent do enough for you. We had late night flight and they accomodate by letting your bags stay at reception after checkout & you’re allowed to continue to use the facilities & even shower before going to airport. We had also booked zoo through them & the driver Wijana was the best! Such a lovely polite guy who was happy to talk about the country etc as we went past.

AustraliaSadly the king bed in the one bedroom pool suite was terribly uncomfortable. After the first night, I asked the team if they would be able to put a mattress topper on to soften the bed, which they gladly did, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. I am used to a very soft mattress, so some may like the firmer option, but after five days, I was quite stiff and sore. It is my only complaint, everything else was so delightful and it wouldn't stop me from staying here again.
Just off the main street, down a vine lined driveway, you enter this hidden gem, a gorgeous resort oasis of luscious plants! Its quite unexpected. The staff are all so wonderful and friendly, never failing to greet you with a hello, pulling out your chair when dining at the restaurant, and paying attention to the small details, like your name and coffee preference. They are also very responsive to any room issues. My partner and I stayed five nights, during which time it was my birthday, and I was presented with a cake while the restaurant staff sang happy birthday at breakfast on my special day. The food is delicious and well priced, as are the cocktails, especially at happy hour. We stayed in a one bedroom pool villa, and didn't really take full advantage of the resorts other pools, but on the one occasion we did, it was at the pool bar. The rooms are very private, we didn't hear any noise from other guests. Each villa is well thought out, with adequate clothes hanging and luggage storage. The bathrooms are to die for! Our villa had a sky light above the shower with an exit to the private pool directly from the bathroom. It felt like you were bathing outside. The bath in the middle in the bathroom is a little annoying to manoeuvre around to get to the toilet. The location is perfect, walking distance to beach bars, fine dining and local cafes and amenities. There isn't beach access close by, it's a short walk through an alley way, which wasn't a problem for us, but something to consider if you would like a morning walk on the beach. Many rooms were being renovated during our stay, which we had been pre warned about, but the construction was kept very tidy and the noise did not impact us. Can highly recommend the spa, I had the most delightful 2 hour massage for more than a reasonable price.

AustraliaThe room was a little dated, the shower wasn’t the greatest. I think the breakfast also could be improved upon. Toast, cereal, fruits and pastries are included but I think it would be better if hot breakfast was also inclusive, maybe bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, mushrooms etc. and if something more exotic is wanted, eggs Benedict for example, THEN it can be ordered off the menu. Due to this we only took advantage of the free breakfast twice and chose to eat out at other places instead. The nightclub directly across the road (Red Ruby) was open 24/7 so quite often you could hear the doof doof noise all night so if you are a light sleeper that may bother you.
Tony’s is situated right in the heart of Seminyak, so it was convenient to shopping centres, restaurants, etc. We had a poolside bungalow that was well set out, the bed was very comfortable and the room for the most part was quiet. The ladies at the Frangipani Spa were exceptional, especially Juli. We went for massages every day of the 7 day stay and the massage was the highlight after a long day out. Likewise the lovely Nia who was serving at the poolside bar and I had a l great afternoon chatting to her whilst she worked. I think the staff are Tonys greatest asset, every person you passed gave you a big smile and a cheery good morning. All in all, value for money was excellent and I would happily go back and stay again.

AustraliaNothing we didn't like, the rooms do let a lot of bugs through the doors as they don't close properly and the bathrooms in the villas are open air.
great location with very nice rooms. The pool areas are really nice, highly recommend staying in the villas compared to the hotel rooms. Staff were all very nice and accommodating, we got a free room upgrade for our first night stay as the room we booked was unavailable :D

IndonesiaIf something, maybe the spa could be improved. It would need an update to be on the same level with the rest of the resort. Also with a bit lower prices guests would be encouraged more to use it.
Beautifully designed resort grounds with 3 unique swimming pools, a cool bar/lounge are and a lovely restaurant. The breakfast is high quality with really good selections. The best we had in Bali. Supirna, the restaurant manager is open for any suggestions despite there is already a very good system in place. The breakfast should satisfy any taste. The restaurant staff as well as the hotel staff are all very polite and friendly. There are bakeries, good cafes near the resort and the beach is not far either. We loved our stay there and hope to return one day. Just one more thing to ad: I liked the honest advertising of the “no view rooms”. Guests know exactly what to expect. Actually they will be positively surprised. Even the these rooms have a balcony and the rooms are just like the other rooms, very spacious with a modern minimalist design. For more traditional taste there are other type of accommodation. These are beautifully designed bungalows in a lush tropical setting. Again recommended to any taste.

AustraliaThere is nothing about the hotel itself that we don’t like. Just be aware that Seminyak is a very busy area, the hotel is quiet but the minute you go out onto the street it is busy and loud.
We loved the location and cleanliness. They cared for our belongings and always checked in to see if we needed anything. Everytime they cleaned our room they would go to extent of even placing our shoes nicely in the room. They were always so prompt to reply to our WhatsApp messages and the probes for food was very reasonable. The located is right in the center of Seminyak which means you have shops and restaurants nearby without 1-10 minute walk! So close to everything. This was something we really appreciated about the location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

United KingdomNothing comes to mind that would put us off from booking with Tony’s again.
Loved the central location and the fact you had every facility you needed at the hotel, which is like a mini resort. The staff were exceptional, from reception, to security, the restaurant, spa, house keeping - no one passed you by without a friendly smile and a hello. We felt safe and welcome here. Special call out to Rani and Gita. We upgraded during our stay to a one bed villa and we were so happy we did. It’s spacious and the outdoor / indoor bathroom is very special with a huge bathtub to enjoy. The private pool was stunning, surrounded by plants. However you still had three other communal pools to choose from. We also booked a driver extremely last minute via the hotel when we were transiting in Dubai. We arrived an hour later and I didn’t expect that our driver (Agus) would have been confirmed on such short notice, or that he would be there, but he had a very clear name card and was friendly and polite. We really couldn’t fault the hotel and enjoyed our week’s stay here. We would highly recommend Tony’s to friends and family. Great value for money and such a good location for exploring Seminyak.

AustraliaI actually don't have a negative about the property as it's location and people and facilities was great. Don't want to build it up too much or you will whip up the prices and we won't be able to afford it again.
It was a amazing resort as soon as you step off the street walk down the bamboo covered driveway to the beautiful tranquil resort, staff were beautiful and helpful and friendly but that's the Bali people, our room in our private Villa with its very own pool was absolutely beautiful can not fault it. The breakfast daily was good lots of choices and they made a good coffee. The spa we had was amazing we had a couple one very relaxing finishing with a rose petal Bath, Stand out people was Ari at the front desk a lovely helpful guy.
