Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenLess nice bathrooms, no storage or wardrobe and we could not swim due to a lot of trash floating ashore.
Wonderful staff and service. Good food. Perfect if you want a calm stay and get around and see Bintan (they can get you arround cheap), and a authentic feeling.

SingaporeThe Bangalow toilet pipe was leaking and the floor was always wet.
The resort is in a very nice and calm seaside with coconut trees. A small resort where one can relax away from the crowd. Nice to sit at the terrace of the bangalow facing the sea.

GermanyThe room looked quite used and old. It is not possible to do anything without a cab. It takes about 30 minutes by cab from the ferry to the resort. The water pressure in the shower is sometimes very low. It is possible to go swimming at the beach, but the entrance is difficult at low tide.
The resort is not in the tourist area. Thus it is very quit and very relaxed. The restaurant was good. Furthermore the massages are good and cheap. If you are looking for a place to relax and lay around, this is your place.

SingaporeLocation a bit remote. The beach was not really full y useable in the sense that it could have been a bigger beach. It basically works as a ledge to the ocean. It is really far from the city side but that does make it quiet so upto you to feel about that as you will
Good food. Basic breakfast. Nice service. Very big area and can spend some time in the mornings and evenings roaming about. Amenities were decent as well. The service, again, was brilliant. Enjoy the geese roaming around haha

GermanyThe beach was sadly not in good condition, therefore swimming was not an option for me. Another minor issue was the WiFi coverage in my bungalow.
Very friedly staff and good service. Good and cheap food. I enjoyed the possibility to rent a bicycle for free. Comfortable and silent bungalow which is perfect to take a rest. Would really recommend this resort, if you want to take a slient break from the rest of the world.

SingaporeWe had bad luck with the weather: rain and wind during all of our stay. This affected the restaurant, since there was no more fresh seafood and the range of dishes was very limited. Not really the hotel's fault, but transportation around Bintan is limited and expensive, so getting a nice meal elsewhere ended up being either impossible or rather costly.
Very friendly staff. Massage service was great too. Room is comfortable and clean. I'm sure we would have loved the place if only we had had some sun.

PolandPlace could do with a little repair on platform on water and others But due to the Covid situation things had been bad economically which is understandable hence the maintenance issues as understood from owner. The plus point is you can see the owner and staffs trying their best to maintain the place daily which is admirable. The thing not to my liking is the taxi fair. It costs alot and inconsistent and that takes alot of money from your pocket. The daily expenses and places of interest are very affordable. Since it was monsoon season the water wasn't clean due to high and strong winds bringing rubbish from neighbouring country. Had low tides to really go for a swim.
Breakfast is alright, mix of noodles, rice , kueh kueh, and with toasted bread and hot beverages. Lunch and dinner menus were limited due to the monsoon season. Overall the food is good and tasty. Owner and STAFFS are extremely helpful and friendly. A homely and cozy environment. A place to come to escape from stress and be laid back and enjoy the surroundings and nature with privacy. Not a place for those who are looking for luxury comfort. Many places off interest nearby and Tanjung Pinang which is about an hour away. Blue Lagoon, Temples,Mangrove and especially snorkeling with Nemo...fantastic

SpainThere isn't much to do there if you don't have a car since the place is pretty isolated, so you would need to use taxis.
The bungalows were super cute and cozy, and the personal were very kind and helpful. When we arrived there was a private event with some music and they told us during the checkin that they had upgraded our bungalow to a higher quality one so that we weren't bothered by the event noise.
