Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaJust one small cup of tea for breakfast. Too many uneven surfaces in room. Had to reach for soap in shower to wash hands at basin. Very low shower pressure. Paper thin bedroom walls.

I really liked the look of it, how the rooms of the hotel where "spread" on the hill. It looks little because the entrance is little and on a corner of a road but then you walk in and it's a lot open.

AustraliaThe cottage photo in the Booking.com that I booked was different with the one I was given to my dismay but they moved me to another cottage uphill. It was ok though it has black ants crawling went inside my suitcase and smell freshly painted. Apart from that it's a lovely place to stay and relax.
Location is perfect, breakfast is good. Staff are really friendly.

United KingdomPolite friendly staff, good massage service and restaurant food was alright, very clean rooms and they are not too hot as they have some shelter from the trees, be careful booking if you have mobility issues as some of the rooms are not so easily accessible, also the taxis do not always drop you at the door as it’s difficult to reach via road on the last 2 minutes but we got a good driver! Only thing to say would be menu in restaurant could be improved and cost is higher inside resort.

New ZealandThe bathrooms need updating.
The Ubud Sari is in an excellent location close to both beautiful rice terraces and to the center of town. The staff were friendly, the grounds were beautiful and breakfast very good. There is a very narrow road in that is difficult for cars but the hotel is easily accessed via a small cut through from Jl. Suweta by the Ubud Central Carpark. It's an easy and fun walk through markets on foot.

PortugalIt was a really good stay! It is just a bit Stressful to get there or out walking as we have to cross the crowded market streets. But this is ubud's thing not the hotel responsibility. It misses a table or some support furniture to place things uppon in my room.
The quiet energy and the staff. They were tiressless and really happy and helpful! The pancakes for breakfast yummy and swimming pool was really nice, plus the outdoor spaces!

United KingdomNo mini fridge. No storage. Very basic bathroom. No toilet paper to go in toilet. I do understand why though. I should have researched the property more before booking. My fault.
Super friendly staff everywhere. Comfortable bed and good Aircon. Bungalow in pleasant location. Great breakfast location. Decent WiFi in room. Inexpensive spa treatments.

SpainWe have stayed in a room with a river view. It's very dark, the bathroom it's exactly at the entrance from outside and has no doors, so there is no privacy and also the bathroom it's dark and has no ventilation. So it's very humid. The hand washing didn't work properly, so the water accumulated.
The location it's very good, in ubud city centre but in a quiet area. The place is nice organised and the brakefast it's good.

RomaniaThe bathrooms of the bungalows would need some restorations. There was no actual wardrobe in the room that we could use to store our clothes. The towels were not changed daily, one day they even changed only one of the 2 towels. No hairdryer available in the room by defalut, you could get one only upon request. There were not so may options for the breakfast and would definetly need to come up with something else. Only balinese coffee available, no latte nor capuccion included on the breakfast. The reception man could be a bit more welcoming and smiling when greeting the guests. In our bungalow, we could use only one plug, as the other one was behind the bed. In order to use another plug for anything else we needed (mosquito killer, iron) we had to ask for a power cord.
The location of the resort is really great, away from the noisy city. The garden looks really nice and you feel like you are living in an actual rice field. The pool has a nice view. The restaurant looks very local and has nice views too.

New ZealandIt had the feeling of an outdated resort that would have been top notch 20 years ago. The rooms are small and felt dingy, the bottom sheet on the bed didn’t cover 1/3 of the mattress (even though the bed is small), and the rooms weren’t cleaned thoroughly each day including not receiving new towels. The facilities could definitely use an update.
The grounds are lush and green making for a peaceful surrounding. I cannot praise the staff enough for being very pleasant and helpful at all times.

AustraliaEveryone was was very tolerant of our boisterous grandkids but it really is a retreat for adults! Only downside is that hubby couldn’t have his Bintang as there is no alcohol here! Be aware that because market stalls have sprung up along the entire once quiet road, drivers will not take you to the hotel and it’s a long walk with luggage in the heat. There is a short cut however!! Get dropped off in Jalan Suweta at the ‘Indomaret’ supermarket - there is a ‘central parking’ next door you walk through - follow the signs to “Kajeng rice fields walk”!!
An oasis in busy Ubud, so tranquil and green. We loved the location, around the corner from the Kajeng rice fields and a short walk down Jalan Kajeng towards the main road. The top pool is fabulous, the food and staff are amazing. Loved the frogs singing at night!

AustraliaAt the last minute I requested a different room which had limited stairs, and the staff were amazing at arranging this request. However, as the resort was completely full, they didn't have many options. The cottage provided was quite old and scungy, located right at the back of the resort. While it was clean inside, there was mildew on some surfaces, and stains in the bathtub and on the toilet bowl.
Brilliant location right in the centre of Ubud. Turn left and you have a short walk to the endless rice fields. Turn right and walk through the market alley and you're in the centre with lots of shopping and restaurants. Staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly and accomodating.

BrazilThe ac was not working properly in my room (too hot), they moved me to another one that was better (but too cold, as it was not possible to control the temperature). Anyway the staff was very helpful with the situation. I would definitely be back (:
The resort is really beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and the SPA is super good (the ladies that work there, too)! The location is also a very good point of this resort.
