Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BulgariaWiFi coverage is not that good. It worked well in common places and it was constantly breaking in our room.
Good location, walking distance from main attractions and centre. Pickup/drop-off with a taxi in front of the hotel might sometimes be difficult, as there is a market on the same street and the road is quite narrow.

GermanyThe road leading to the Resort is the market road so it could be a hassle to drive in or out that road. When we left, the taxi had no problem driving us out because it was raining and the shops didn't open as early as it normally would.
The Ubud Resort was lovely. The rooms were alright. The bathroom was really basic. Even though it was clean enough, i still wore my flipflops inside. The beds were clean and comfortable. I only ordered the asian rice and noodle option for breakfast and liked it. Can't remember what the alternative options were. Hotel staffs were very pleasant, friendly and attentive.

AustraliaIf I'm being super picky, the water pressure in the shower was a little low, but it did the trick!
Stunning location. View of the river and the jungle. Super comfortable and beautiful room and the staff went above and beyond. So far the best place I have stayed in Bali. The room was quiet but central. I walked to the local market every day, then strolled down the lane for a massage. Also a short stroll to see the stunning rice paddies of Ubud. Simply gorgeous.

Austria1. We stayed for 4 nights in a bungalow with a rustic feel. The problem is, that there are small openings everywhere and all kinds of animals can get inside (bugs/lizards). The biggest problem is that next to the bungalow you have these small “mini ponds”. At night this is the place where many frogs gather, and they sing VERY VERY loud during the whole night!!! The last night was so extreme, we couldn’t sleep at all! Horrible! Even earplugs can’t help you. So please keep in mind if you take the bungalow! 2. The included breakfast is very average. It is not a buffet. You can choose only one type and the portions are VERY small… 3. Something that I found very weird is that the soap-holder on the wall is on one end in the bathroom (where you take a shower), but the sink is on the other end without soap. They need to put one also where the sink is.. 4. Laundry service very expensive (do it outside the hotel, where it is 10times cheaper!)
The location is brilliant, at the end of Ubud market street. Nevertheless, it is quiet and peaceful with huge green grounds (feeling very close to nature)! The rooms are very minimalist, but clean. Beds are big and comfortable. Sheets and towels are soft and smell nice!

United KingdomThe rooms are so quiet abd walls so thin you can hear a pin drop (or something else) in the other rooms. Kept up all night by a guy on the phone and one coughing. Not exactly a romantic place.
Seemed like a chill place but was only here for one day. Didnt really visit it as a health resort.

United KingdomA beautiful natural oasis in the heart of Ubud. The location is brilliant as it is just at the end of market street, yet the hotel is quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant is extremely healthy and the pools are lovely. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tidy and we felt incredibly relaxed!

IndonesiaBetter not driving a car by yourself since the road is small fit for 1 car only and lots of traditional shops along the road. Parking space only for 2-3 cars. Our kids did not like the bathroom with big window. The resto is OK but not at night because of the mosquitoes. The area of the resort is wonderful,,feel so close with natures. The rooms smell a bit old, maybe because of the pandemic. No sign for kiblat (direction for moslems to pray)
You could take pretty pictures with your family in here

United KingdomThe rooms are very old unfortunately, the bathrooms are not modern at all, old furniture, bedsheets had spots, 2 times (once into morning, once in the evening) cold water, and also had 2 geckos living with me in the room (which was not a problem for me, but could be for others). The pool area is really nice, but there are only 4 shadow places, no sunshades, the sunbeds are really uncomfortable, no pillows and they get really really hot. There are some towels but it’s still uncomfortable and you need 2 otherwise you will burn your legs at the rattan sunbeds.
The Ubud Sari Health resort is based at the end of Ubud market, which is absolutely perfect and you can walk around centre within a few minutes. I asked for a scooter rental when I arrived and got the scooter within 10min, they also organised a taxi to the airport, the whole team is very friendly and helpful. The Spa and massages are really good as well! I loved the “jungle” atmosphere of the hotel, it’s very green and lovely looking!

United KingdomThere isn't much to dislike but there are a few nitpicking areas of improvement: The rooms were very comfortable, however were very basic and perhaps 'cold' - so rejuvenating the bathrooms to a more modern look may be a good idea. A lack of storage was also prominent - if you're staying for a couple of days, then I doubt this would bother you. But if visiting for a prolonged period, living out of a suitcase isn't the most comfortable. Though we understand this is difficult to do - rethinking the room side ponds may wish to be looked at. The lovely pond we had next to our room during the day, turned into an artillery battery in the evening (in the form of a family of screaming frogs). Though charming and 'part of the Bali experience' on the first night - by the 3rd it was a touch unwelcome.
The staff were fantastic - Ugung in particular, he helped us out with any queries/requests that we had. The restaurant staff were also fantastic. A lot of privacy, as well as the setting being rather tranquil - you forget that you're in a bustling place like Ubud. Spa treatments were excellent - although they were slightly more expensive than other offerings in Ubud, they were well worth the extra few pounds/dollars. If you're travelling on your own, as a couple, or even a family - this is a great place to stay.
