The hotel could use a retouch, some painting here and there. Also, because you need to keep the bedrooms mainly closed, it smells a little bit like mold. But nothing big, good value for money!

The staff is incredibly nice! You have a few coffeehouses nearby, gyms, stores... But keep in mind that there are no sidewalks, so you need to be careful walking because the traffic is crazy. The pool is very nice and the restaurant too (although a little bit expensive when compared to others in the area).

It's a pleasant hotel, simple but comfortable at a good price. We needed a hotel on the Northern part of Canggu and this location was perfect for us. To get around Canggu you will need a motorcycle or use Gojeks.It's a 10-min scooter ride to the beach and the hustle and bustle of Canggu. The property is very clean and staff is wonderful.

Balcony door could be better sealed so there's no ants entering, but it wasn't a big problem.

The hotel restaurant was great. There's a handful of laundry services nearby too. Overall it was a good 1 night stay, it relaxed me before my flight the next day.

Do not come to this hotel to stay by the pool as there is hardly any sunbed although it is nice to be able to swim.

Very nice hotel and even if the rooms are not very spacious, they are very comfortable and clean. The bed is particularly large "2 meters" and the bed is comfortable. I would highly recommend and would be happy to return.

I had the most incredible stay at Umpadhi Hotel in Canggu—everything about this place exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a super comfortable bed that made for the best sleep. The pool area was a dream—serene, well-maintained, and the perfect place to relax. I also loved the peaceful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle, but still just a short ride to Canggu’s best spots. The on-site restaurant, Mezze, was outstanding—delicious food, fresh ingredients, and great service. I enjoyed every meal I had there! Overall, Umpadhi Hotel is a true gem in Bali. We had to change the room as the air conditioning was not working properly and even the second room there was no cooling we had to leave the air conditioners all the time as the room would become hot if it were turned off and again to cool back would take 4-5 hours.

Umpadhi is always my chosen home when I come to Bali. I love the coziness of the bedrooms, the hotel itself looking like a building from south of France, the super helpful staff. Plus the restaurant is excellent and great place to work! Really have a fond spot for this place :)

The location was serene (amid rice paddies at the top of Canggu) and the design of the hotel was beautiful. I didn't like the location of my first room (bottom floor) so the staff assisted in changing my room immediately. The staff were warm and friendly and went out of their way to assist me in every way possible. Everything I ate in the restaurant was incredible. I would definitely recommend Umpadhi to anyone travelling to Bali and would definitely love to stay again.

The showers weren’t very clean. The towels had stains on them. The staff tried to charge me double the rate for my room (luckily my friend noticed). Food quite overpriced. The locks aren’t very safe. Seems like there was some sort of electric system, but it’s not working.

Swimming pool was nice. Decor is good and minimalistic. Food was tasty in the restaurant (but pricey). Location is great. Not too busy but still close to the centre of Canggu.
