That we didn’t stay longer!

Wow, what a property in beautiful area of Sideman. The staff will do everything to make your stay a welcome one. We stayed there for 2 nights with our 9 month old daughter Nora, the staff really loved her and played with her when we had for instance lunch or breakfast. The property is situated on a rice field, which gives it a nice and ideal atmosphere for this region. Our apartment was situated in the far right of our level and had a view across the pool and on the rice fields. Really waking up every day to a paradise! The breakfast is a choice between Balinese or American food. With coffee or thee, fruit smoothie and fruit pieces, really extensive and delicious every day. The dinner is also nice, with a lot of choices and also in drinks. Next to the location and property itself, is the staff also the one who makes this such a special place. They really try to help you in every way, with activities, rentals or cab fares, by showing the available choices and giving all the information so you can a proper choice.

Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights at Sidemen. The view is breathtaking, the staff absolutely gorgeous (our son had so much laughs and talks with the girls) and the food was really good. Would def recommand this place to others!

The junior suite is very spacious and has exceptional views to rice fields and the Gunung Agung. Even from the shower. The food in the restaurant is delicious and fairly priced. The staff is both friendly, kind and very professional at the same time. Which we very much appreciated, because it made us feel welcomed and taken care of on a high service level.

My recent stay at Abian Ayu was wonderful. Such a beautiful peaceful space. The staff were so attentive. The food was excellent. I had a massage and facial while there which were both wonderful. The only thing missing in Sidemen was yoga facility but Abian are building a beautiful Yoga Shala 🙏

Internet was not stable, sometimes off connection.

The room was spacious with stunning view. Dipping in the pool with a drink and viewing the rice terraces around the place was so enjoyable. The staff was super nice and helpful, the service was the best to all our travel experiences. Thanks Piani, Ari, Dubi, Sidik and other staff. You made our holiday unique and memorable.

We’re glad to have decided to stay here on the last few days of our Bali vacation. Our family of 22 stayed here from Dec 30 to Jan 4 so we spent our New Year’s eve here. It is the most relaxing part of our trip. The real gems are the staff who will do everything they can to ensure your stay is as comfortable and happy. Food from the restaurant is excellent as well. It is good value for money and some of the best we’ve eaten for the whole trip. The villa we stayed at are spacious and very comfortable. You will never go wrong with this villa. We will be back for sure.

That being said, there were a few moments that slightly dampened the experience, particularly regarding taxi arrangements at the front desk. While the overall staff was incredibly kind and helpful, we did encounter some difficulties when requesting transportation, especially at checkout, where flexibility and communication could be improved. Despite this, our final departure was handled smoothly, and the staff made sure we left on a good note.

Our stay in this dream setting was overall a wonderful experience. We booked a private pool room with breathtaking views of the rice fields, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a fresh juice and a delicious chocolate cake. The setting was stunning, and the atmosphere incredibly peaceful. The service from Ita and Piani was exceptional—they were always available, checking in to make sure everything was perfect. We had a floating breakfast, which was served on time with fresh and delicious products. The restaurant was also excellent, so much so that we had all our meals there, including a room service dinner that was fresh, tasty, and right on time. The à la carte breakfasts were great, and the afternoon tea with local treats, delivered to the room at our chosen time, was a lovely touch. Every evening, the staff would prepare the bed for the night and set up the mosquito repellent, ensuring a comfortable stay. The massages were another highlight—the therapists had incredible skills, making it a truly relaxing experience. However, the absolute standout experience was the trekking tour with Nyoman, organized by the hotel. He is an amazing guide, full of knowledge about local agriculture and Balinese traditions, and he took us to places we would have never found on our own. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it! In the end, this was a beautiful stay with top-notch service from most of the team, and the warm hospitality of Ita, Piani, and Nyoman truly made a difference. We leave with great memories and would still recommend this hotel, especially for its service, setting, and unique experiences.

Not necessarily a bad thing for some, but to reach our room, it took 70 steps down and of course 70 steps up. Would not necessarily recommend it for an elderly person, though there are rooms closer to the reception area and restaurant and pool.

First of all, the staff could not have been any nicer! The pool was a welcome relief from the heat. Front desk, reception organized, half-day, and full day trips for us and the restaurant food was excellent.

The property is in a great location with the overview of a rice fields! We liked a lot that everything is green and you are constantly surrounded by nature sounds which was very calming 💚 The room and the bathroom was very spacious and we also enjoyed the pool area with the great view 😊 Also, we recommend the spa as the foot massage that we had was very relaxing 💆🏻‍♀️Speaking about restaurant, it also offers lots of tasty things and the breakfast itself is really nice and big, lots of variety and choice for everyone's taste! The staff is really great, helpful, warm and very welcoming which makes this place unique in Sidemen ❤️ Since it was my boyfriend's birthday, all the staff (reception, restaurant and the housekeeping team) helped to surprise him with some sweet treats and room decorations which was trully amazing!! 😊✨🎂 So I wanted to expresss gratitude and big thank you to this place, it's really amazing and I cannot recommend it more while you are in Sidemen! The hotel is just great! It’s on a beautiful location with volcano view! The bedroom was super comfortable, swimming pool view! The restaurant food is just delicious and breakfast is à la carte, quite complete! The staff is quite helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back!

The hotel is in a quiet place of Sidemen, yet in a central location as there are many warungs and shops nearby due to its proximity to other hotels so there are many options to eat aside from the hotel restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool but I did not use it. Breakfast was delicious.

It was a pleasure to stay 3 nights here : it's a beautiful and quite place. The staff is really pleasant and they want you to be fine. I was alone and everybody take care of me. Thank you so much guys ! I did laundry, massage, breakfast, swimming and rest and all were perfect. Sidemen is very the most beautiful place in Bali so far for me.

Nothing, loved it all.

I’ve been to Bali many times and this was my first stay in Sideman. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the pool was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. I loved that it was in a quiet location away from hustle and bustle of the main touristy spots. Would absolutely return here.

Our only criticism was the shower wasn't very powerful and didn't get hot enough..

Abian Ayu villa is set on aprox 4-5 acres amongst picturesque rice paddies. Our room (104) was quite large, comfortable queen size bed. adequate bathroom ( questionable decor) and a balcony with an amazing view. The hotel is bigger in reality than it looks on Booking.com . and it has many pretty little paths to walk along. The pool is beautiful. The restaurant has a variety of excellent value meals, served by the wonderful helpful staff.. all in all excellent value, and we look forward to returning.. Highly recommend 👌
