Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe villa is an absolute hidden gem in Ubud!!! Our stay was exceptional and felt like a home. We stayed for 10 nights in this villa and loved everything. The staff was extremely friendly and caring. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool are and garden are an idyllic hideaway from the busy streets of Ubud. Also the rooms were exceptionally comfortable and beautifully furnished.

BulgariaThere couldn’t be anything you don’t like in this place! I can only recommend to stay in the second flor villa with a balcony view as it has the most beautiful view of the rice fields!
Words are not enough for this villa! Outstanding accommodation with amazing view to the rice fields, surrounded by palm trees. The room was extra clean and cleaned everyday, the breakfast was excellent, the pool area was super chill and refreshing, the location is perfect as it is close to many social places and attractions and at the same time it is far from the noise of Ubud center. The sounds of the jungle are wakening you in the morning. And the staff… they were beyond helpful and friendly! Always there to assist you in every way! We were even invited to one of the owners’ wedding! 🙏🏼 We has a romantic breakfast in the pool for free, we had massages for the two if us at the same time for a very decent price, they organise trips to the local attractions and you can rent bike for a good price for them. We have stayed at 3 accommodations in Bali (Ubud, Uluwatu and Nusa Penida) and Prabhu Ubud Villa was by far the best and with no doubt - the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in! We could only stay at the villa and go nowhere else and it could be perfect! Thank you so much - you know how to do business and you deserve 5 out of 5 all the way!!! 🙏🏼🔝

This place was a slice of heaven for us. From the excellent service, filling breakfast and spacious rooms, to the peaceful facilities and views. It was tucked away from the Central Ubud but walking distance from many places. Ayra, Gungus, Suchi and Gung Satya were beyond amazing in their etiquette. It was so nice to talk to them to learn about Ubud and just enjoy the calmness.

The staff were very polite, friendly and loving. They were always available when you need. The room was exceptional. had a wonderful time in the villa. We had a couple Balinese massage at the villa and it was really good. Worth the price. They had a set menu for breakfast from which we can select couple of items. But the quantity and the taste of the food was really good. The location and vibe get 10/10.

Saudi ArabiaThe breakfast is not a buffet which is understandable given the size of the place, but they really should have much more options in the breakfast menu. Also the entrance is a bit narrow for cars, so some of the drivers will refuse to go in, it is not far but it’s quite dark at night.
The place is really nice, quiet and clean. They light up this really nice incense and the night lights it is very pleasant. The room is spacious and really clean, the most important part for us is that they do not have open bathroom and they do not let lizards in the room. The pool area is also quite nice and the view is somewhat good.

SloveniaThe only downside is the breakfast which is quite simple, but it still tasted good.
We lived everything about this property. If possible, it is even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything is immaculate and well taken care of. The staff is INCREDIBLE, all so kind and helpful. There is peaceful music playing at all times which makes this an oasis in the middle of rice fields. The room is big and spacious with lots of ammenities. We highly recommend!

MontenegroI would prefer to order breakfast on the day, rather than the night before. But to be honest it wasn't really a big issue. Food was so lovely that I can't complain. Bed- mattress was on a hard side. But it's a personal preference.
We loved everything. Staff was lovely, food was tasty and fresh. Room was spacious and shower was very powerful. Location was a bit out of the city it was good on one side.

IndiaThere was only one minor issue: the hot water in the shower was inconsistent due to a problem with the water heater. However, Mr. Gungus assured us that it would be resolved quickly, and we appreciated his prompt attention to the matter.
Everything was exceptional, especially thanks to Mr. Gungus, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. It was my wife’s birthday and he took care of it very well. His tireless dedication and outstanding service truly stood out. He even arranged VIP treatment for our Nusa Penida island package, adding an extra layer of luxury to our trip. Every detail was taken care of, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Mr wayan was also very polite, humble and provided an exceptional service. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

AustraliaNothing! (It is about 20 minutes out from the town and there can be traffic, BUT it was worth it to stay in the peace and quiet of the rice fields)
The staff were so kind and welcoming. The pool area is lovely and peaceful right on the rice fields, such a nice contrast to the business of Ubud. We had massages by the pool which were amazing and very relaxing! Great communication and the staff were so happy to help and answer any questions we had

MalaysiaSpace at the pool was a bit limited but okay.
I loved the room, the architecture and design. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The staff was great too. Nice view on the paddy fields and the bath tub in the outdoor bathroom was a comfortable spa getaway a foot away! Smart TV also worked perfectly. The bed was perfect, clean, and to sink in and sleep in right away. I loved everything.

An absolutely exceptional stay. First of all, the location is the perfect escape from the busy downtown Ubud area but still only 10 minute by car/motorbike away. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with a really comfy bed. What makes Prabhu Ubud Villa stand out is the incredible service. Gung Gus is a customer service extraordinaire. He went out of his way to organise the loveliest birthday surprise for my partner during our stay and was always helpful and kind in every interaction. I could not recommend this place enough (also, please give Gung Gus a promotion/pay rise!)

NetherlandsThe facilities were absolutely amazing. Prabhu Villas can be described as the perfect, peaceful oasis in the middle of Ubud. Clean facilities, and beyond friendly and attentive staff. Special shoutout to Gung Gus, who made our stay simply perfect. Not only were we offered a free massage due to some noise during the night by another guest, but when we forget a personal item at Prabhu Villa, he drove all the way to our next location to bring us the forgotten item. He is simply the embodiment of customer obsession. Thanks a million!
