The heat was very strong, and we had a problem with cold water in the shower. The pipes were so heated during the day, that we had only hot water :) On top of that, there was not a lot of drinkable water in the room, we needed to ask for additional water pretty often. We booked massage in their spa center, and the massage was good but there was no music during the treatment, that is something I would recommend to have a truly relaxing and restoring experience.

Property is stunning, and the whole eco concept is impressive. They indeed practice what they preach. Beach is super clean, as well as the whole property, very peaceful and relaxing. They promote co-living and co-existence with wildlife, such as deer, black leaf monkeys, macaque monkeys and wild pig, and they don't have any commercial shops which was so nice to experience. They take care of the coral reefs, and even if you choose to snorkle only around the peer, you will have amazing time. Great place for swimming as well, Ocean is calm there. They offer a lot of activities, we went to Menjangan island temple tour, and it was worth the visit. Boats are well maintained and staff is professional and helpful. Star gazing at night is amazing!

During the day the airconditioning is not powerful enough to keep the room comfortable.

The location is superb for nature lovers. There are a lot of animals and the snorkelling is good right in front of the door. The staff is very friendly en helpful. The food is very good.

Food quality and higher prices than most of the island are a little bit disappointing for a place like that even if I understand that an isolated place like this will have higher fares.

The incredible position near the national park and close to the Menjangan island makes the trip outstanding. You will see thousand of fishes from snorkelling from the beach. Monkeys and deers are also regularly seen hanging around. Deserved to stop there for a day or more

A word of caution: Beware of mischievous monkeys; they are so clever that they can even open room doors if they're not securely closed. As for the property itself, I have nothing but praise to offer.

The location is absolutely stunning, nestled within the breathtaking confines of the national park. I thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling experience, and the culinary offerings were delightful. The staff went above and beyond, their warmth and assistance truly enhanced our stay. A special thanks for facilitating a taxi for our onward journey.

Beautiful resort in the most incredible setting. At the property alone, we saw black monkeys, grey monkeys, deer, hog, squirrels and kingfishers. The rooms and facilities are fantastic, the staff are exceptional and so kind, and the views are breathtaking. Rooms are cleaned and prepared twice a day. You can snorkel directly off the pier in front of the property, there is also magical scuba diving as well just a 10 min boat ride away. We did a trek into the National park with a lovely guide who helped us spot birds and other wildlife. The restaurant serves a great food and the staff are absolutely fantastic. The afternoon tea was a nice bonus, with a different Indonesian dessert prepared each day. We had truly the most wonderful time and will be back to visit again.

We only stayed one night and wished to stay longer! The room was fantastic and we enjoyed the sunrise from our balcony. The black monkeys are just so pretty and it was fun to have them around from time to time. We did snorkeling right in front of the resort and it was beautiful, a lot of corals and blue starfish. The personnel was really kind.

Great location away from it all with amazing snorkeling directly from the beach (at high tide) or the pier. All staff was exceedingly friendly and even helped with an item forgotten there. The cottages are very comfortable and nicely integrated into the natural surroundings.

you cannot leave the hotel alone even just to walk, you need to book a tour with a ranger (the rangers are really nice, but the lenght of « treks » are really short)

The location in the national park is perfect if you want some calm. We enjoyed snorkelling just from the beach which was great ! There were also lots of animals (monkeys, deers) The rooms are confortable and the staff is really nice. There is option to do scuba diving and boat tours.

Watch out for the monkeys ( I know this cannot be helped ) but just beware! Also you have to pay tax for being on the island which is fine but just to let people know.

Wow beautiful resort. Very relaxing. Staff so attentive, friendly + helpful. We loved it. I booked the private candle lit dinner on the beach front for my girlfriend and it was the perfect night - definitely recommend. The snorkelling was incredible. The rooms were beautiful, decorated nice, free water + plenty of toiletries. Food also very tasty!!

A little piece of paradise, its got a safari vibe. The rooms are big with nice bathrooms, super comfy beds and great views. Rooms get cleaned twice a day! Lots of wildlife running about, grey monkeys, black monkeys and friendly deer constantly roam the area. You can snorkel straight of the beach for free. Lots of activities to choose from, snorkelling/scuba diving on another island, bike rides, trekking, sea kayaking. The restaurant serves up a good selection of food and drinks. All the staff are really nice, I was really impressed by Susi as her service was impeccable 👌 It's a little piece of paradise. Was sad to leave.
