Fantastic hotel, very large room which smelt lovely and had a large clean bathroom. Super friendly staff who were happy to give suggestions and drove us to the national park entrance. Breakfast of omelette, toast or rice, fruit and tea was delicious!! Exceeded my expectations!! Great location, just a short walk from both beaches and the high street. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

The breakfast is a buffet, but not that many options for vegetarians. The pool is way smaller than shown on the pictures. It's next to a mirror, so it looks bigger. Our room didn't have windows.

Driver recommended restaurant with low hygienic standard giving me a bit of diarrhea. The external tour guides seemed like sharks to me since I am solo traveler proficient in Indonesian for more than 10 travels over ca 15 ys; but I had the impression those guys were pleasing the normal groups of young tourists for whom this is the right (budget) place. I made some research (seeing many hotels incl rooms and asking prices) and if I would go there again, pantai indah hotel would be my choice.

Cheap and owner is a good and honest communicator via whatsap, supporting the local staff do support you best. Small complaints were fixed quickly. Very reasonable rates for private taxi for many hours to arrive and depart to other remote destinations. No access to lots of other hotels via booking com.

We had such a wonderfull time here! The hotel is really good the rooms are clean and big, bed is comfortable and sleeps really nice. Breakfast every morning was good with great coffee or tea. But the best part were Ocid and Kusnadi!! They made our stay perfect! They took us with them and wanted to show us everything. They took us to a local festival where we did a traditional dance and after that had one of the most fun nights ever while making music together and singing. It was awesome!! Thank you Ocid and Kusnadi you are the best! Hope to come back in the future!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice little hut to have breakfast in, which also was nice - you got some fruits to it :) Basic room as expected. Worked just fine for 2 nights.

The guest house was clean and good. They arrange us a hike in the Pangadaran forest with Orchid. He is very good as a guide and the hike was wonderful. It was a great adventure with him to discover Pangadaran.

We had a lovely stay at Ahlen and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get the most out of their visit to Pangandaran. Ahlen is a centrally located, clean, spacious and beautiful hotel. Everyone working here is super friendly and accomodating, the hotel also serves a delicious breakfast and provide bottled water. Our train journey had some delays, causing us to arrive very late at Sidareja but the manager was super kind and still sent a taxi driver to pick us up. We did an amazing tour with Iwan, the main tourguide who visits the hotel during breakfast. We did a package tour which included the Green Canyon as well as the National Park which were both unique experiences. Iwan is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, which really enhances your tour experience! All in all an unforgettable stay 10/10!

No hot shower, but it was not so big problem considering the temperature.

Clean, spacious room. I saw no mosquitoes. Quiet, good atmosphere. Breakfast was also pretty good. It was located between the bus terminal and the peninsula (nature reserve), so if you like to get around on foot (like me), the location was convenient.

The staff were all very good. They looked after us constantly and we're always happy to help. Breakfast was huge and delicious every day! Our room was big, clean and comfortable. Our tour to Green Canyon / Valley was outstanding, thanks to Iwan who is an exceptionally good guide and made our day very memorable. Highly recommend this place.

Calm and cosy hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and really nice people. Orchid and Ihwan are so kind and interesting guides, we learned and discovered so much things with them. The breakfast was also very good. The motorbikes rental was also useful. Wonderful overall experience. I would definately recommend it.
