Some things are a little run down such as decking around the pools. Lots of storm damage at the time of my stay.

The lighting in room is very poor. Too dark. The toilets do not flush well. A toilet brush should be available.

Lack of communication that massage required cash payment (which was communicated after massage, even though room number was taken prior to massage… could not book to room) and restaurant (at times) required payment immediately after meal (inconsistent method - some payment allowed to room/ other times required immediate payment.

No sandy beach to swim

Good thing is it is very tranquil and quiet, however downside is bit far from everything.

Its location is its major letdown, taxi app service non existant , decided to walk to Lebeh ( nearest biggish place) got stranded had to walk 2 hours along a very very busy dual carriageway, very dangerous, we can’t use motorcycles, so a car taxis was our only option, but taxis could never find us or never set off . Via booking. Com taxis app , grab was no different . I suppose if you never wanted to leave the ‘resort’ and sit round one of two pools , that’s fine , but you can only walk round the rice field so many times . Seemed more catered for business conference than holiday hotel , so perhaps we are somewhat to blame for not researching really well , checked out 4 days early . In order not to impact on our Bali vacation , beach no swimming- dangerous. near by warung and small shop very welcoming and good simple nasa goreng, didn’t fancy over priced hotel food , but that just our opinion . Got bit a lot around pool . Ants .

Location is too far away from restaurants or entertainment. Needs a major landscape renovation. Beach is not usable and sea dangerous. Hotel restaurant is not good value or quality. Coffee is very weak. Checked out one day early to go to Kuta

The main pool is out of service, and it looks like it has been for quite some time, it's a massive eyesore. There is only one restaurant where the food is acceptable, but not for more than one or two meals. Very limited food options near by.

The newly renovated rooms are amazing, the view are breathtaking, and the sound of the waves is an incredible touch. The location of the hotel is great, and the staff is super friendly. The black sand beaches are beautiful.

Horrible food at the beach restaurant. Staff can barely speak English. Room AC was making a unignorable noise every few minutes and had to turned on and off. Prices in restaurant were extortive vs food quality.

The hotel itself is outdated and in parts the roof was missing in some areas. Not inside the room but on the outside.

The facility of course, some exterior of the building is breaking. Fortunately my room is amazing, only a very bad smell coming from the jet of jacuzzi when i turned it on, also some dirt coming from the water way of the jet. after taking some times in the hotel, I notice the building is shacking every beach strong big wave hit. this is very inconvenience and triggering earth quake trauma. turn out not only in the building, I felt the experience around the hotel, at the restaurant, at the beach side walk too.

very spacious room, the hotel are very welcoming. i asked for birthday complimentary and they provide it for free. Also the staff very cooperating, i have two booking code during my stay, the help me to connect the room so i don't need to check out/change room. I really thanked them for this, very convenient. When a lamp in my room was broken, i contact the operator and they immediately repair it.

Not really value for money. The place in general need maintenance, both in the room and external, a bit neglected. The side of the resort along the beach is really bad looking, need lots of work done, looks abandoned.

Room was good with nice view. Staffs were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were great.

The main pool was closed and we were not notified before. There isn't actually a beach to swim in and it's very far away from all amenities.
