Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe staff was helpful but not very friendly. In general the hotel is quite good, but it's too overpriced for what it offers imo.
Location is great - everything in Dublin is easily accessible. Overall, the hotel is standard and solid.

GermanyThe room was very small and we missed a locker. Not much space for a longer stay. It was a quite challenge to sleep with open window, beacuse of the noisy environment outside.
The location in the heart of Dublin is excellent. An aircoach stop (aiport shuttle bus) was nearby. We liked the cosy beds very much, so we could easily recover from our long walks through the city.

SpainOur first room was in the 6th floor and was listed as a double. Be careful because it was only big enough for one person and the bathroom layout was dangerous. Jorge quickly let us switch rooms to the first floor for a (paid) upgrade- we were much more comfortable.
Jorge at the front desk was amazing- helped us in so many ways - getting comfortable in room and city suggestions. Breakfast was about $10 per person and was very nice there in the hotel.

United KingdomThe actual room we got was so basic and small. no bottled water provided, no biscuits or welcome features in the room and for the price I wasn’t expecting it to be like a hostel or student room. The towels provided were so small. No bathrobe etc. just basic and no character. the worst thing was constantly having maids enter the room early in the morning checking you were up as they wanted to make beds etc. sometimes without knocking. coming in our room from 745 am - not happy! no lie in at all just awful and rude.
Very good central location. Nice big lobby entrance and dinning area for breakfast. nice breakfast. breakfast staff very nice. Rooms quiet even though noisy outside, very clean.

SwedenI found it strange that was a gentleman who wanted us to sit and than he organised tea for us. Was unnecessary and i found it impolite if i would just leave. It was not fully packed at that time in the restaurant and he was in high speed. I know the feeling when you are working but we were there on our holiday so a bit smoother approach would have been better.
I was traveling with my teenager daughter and she wanted to taste irish breakfast so i was very happy with your buffet breakfast. She could taste everything and many times. It was well organised and tasted good

United StatesFantastic location - I feel like I hit the jackpot with this hotel as far as sightseeing in Dublin. It was a block(ish) walk from where the airport express bus drops off/picks up, less than a block from where we arranged our rental car for our drive to the west coast, and multiple transit methods were available for getting around town. Trinity College, shops and restaurants were all within a nice walking range (approximately 1km, I think). Tourist info offices, currancy exchange, and the post office were close by. Staff was friendly and (thankfully) were able to accommodate our early check-in request - which was great after an 8 hour red-eye flight!). Breakfast was nice. Elevators were secured by key entry. The room was quiet for a busy part of town that didn't seem to sleep (i.e., very little outside noise filtered through). Really wish booking.com had a more nuanced rating system as I would have set it higher due to staff and location.

United StatesWe were put on a floor with a large number of unruly school children, which unfortunately was not apparent until late in the evening. As we had to get up at four am for early transfer to the airport, it made no sense to ask to switch rooms for a couple hours. Definitely less than optimal though.
We actually stayed here previously on the beginning of the same trip and had a better room at a lower cost and overall experience, so that colored this end-of-trip stay as a little less positive. The location is central and very convenient to sightseeing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again (with fingers crossed for no school groups crossing our paths next time!)
