Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Was given the wrong room on arrival was told I could get the room I booked when available , this was at 12.15am which was not acceptable. Got our correct room at 12.30pm the next day this room was fine.
Location was good our room when we got the correct one which I booked was good. Room was clean the hotel facilities were good as was the breakfast.

The TV in the room didn’t work
The hotel is in an ideal location. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable. I really liked how big the safety deposit box was and the tea-making facilities.

The bed wasn't comfortable as it was not double bed but singles that kept moving apart,,very bad experience,,,and housekeeper opened when I was sleeping without knocking before check out time

This was our second stay, room was bigger, coffee, tea amount average no biscuits. Building work in the lobby was disrupting people’s way. Staff weren’t as friendly

Clean, modern and up to date rooms. Ideal location only 5-10 mins walk from the centre, and 24hr reception so we could check in smoothly from our flight landing at 11pm.

I'd skip the breakfast buffet next time. It was pretty ordinary eggs/sausage/beans/tomatoes/toast/cereal/coffee. Not a lot of fresh fruit. But it did the job.
The location was so convenient I canceled a booking at another facility for my return to Dublin and booked into the Academy Plaza again! Even though construction was going on on the ground floor, my rooms were small but very quiet and comfortable. In my second room I had trouble with the heating and a staff member brought a space heater to me. It never did get warm so I ran the space heater the entire time. But everything else was great.

Price wasn't cheap.
Location was great, just off o'connell street a short walk to temple bar and other attractions, plenty of bars shops and cafes nearby. Tram stop behind the hotel. Bus stops were also close by. Room was clean, and large enough with a comfy bed and a nice en suite bathroom. Breakfast was decent too.

The bathroom door was in an awkward position as its right on top of the shower. The view we had from the room was a wall which I prefer having a better view like the main road
We had a lovely room the bed was very comfortable and it was really quiet where we was considering it was new year.
