Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainWe liked everything.:)
Everything was perfect in our stay. We loved everything in the house and mostly, the hosts help in everything they could do for us. They were always ready to give us some tips, to help us with the transport and to simply make us fell at HOME. They made our stay very easy and practical giving facilities all the time. They really achieved their objective and we felt AT HOME in such a wonderful house with such great people in charge. We highly recommend staying there and we will definitely come back when travelling to the same area. Thanks for everything Aógan and Francis! We feel like we made some new friends we would like to visit again soon. See you soon! Hasta la vista!! :)

IrelandThe only down side is, it doesnt have a downstairs bedroom for someone with difficulties climbing stairs. Saying that it had everything we needed to gather as a family.
A tatched two story spacious house, set in a scenic location with panoramic views, very close to nearby facilities, within walking distance to social facilities which we availed off, the barman John Joe was such a friendly pleasent man and the locals where very very friendly towards us, the pool table & dart board added to the fun for our entertainment for the night. The property has very spacious rooms and housed everything we needed. I would certainly highly recommend this rental property to stay in Cootehill as its only a short distance to the town where we had a ramble too and enjoyed browsing in the local shops and cafe.

United KingdomAmazing house, absolutely everything you could need within it. Kitchen with a great range cooker and an abundance of cutlery, saucepans, plates etc. House has 3 showers, loads of seating. Massive rooms and a pool table and a Wii for the kids. Gorgeous views, lovely walks. Parks nearby. The house is across the road from a church and lovely grotto. Pub is 5 minutes walk. Seriously could not fault the house and facilities. We had 4 teenagers with us and even they thoroughly enjoyed their time in An Maide Bán. Aoģan was so friendly as well. Would definitely book again.

United KingdomThe house was amazing, so spacious, and has everything you could ever need in it. The garden was perfect for the kids to play safely. The countryside around it was beautiful with lovely walks and complete peace and quiet. While we were here, we did Erica's fairy trail, which was nearby. It's definitely a must if you have kids with you. We went to the local pub and the people couldn't have been more friendly, lovely atmosphere and it also had a pool table and Darts to keep you entertained.it's a couple of minutes walk from the house. There is also a nice shop within walking distance to the house I can't say enough about Aogán the owner, he was so helpful and lovely, we were made to feel so welcome by Aogán, his lovely wife and all the locals it really is one of the friendliest places I have ever visited I would highly recommend this to anyone
