IrelandPlace was beautiful and staff are very accommodating. My mum and sister stayed for my mums birthday, the staff were excellent, upgraded the room on request and ensured the room had wheelchair access. They also helped with making it special with a birthday plan and prosecco which was extra but worth every penny to make the stay special. The receptionist was brilliant and organised a wheelchair taxi from the train station.

United KingdomI had to return to reception 4 times in 2 nights becuase my key card failed to work. There must be something wrong with the key mechanism. It is a shame the main restaurant is only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays

IrelandService isn't great. Long wait to be served food once seated in the restaurant. No working phone in our room, 1 bath towel for 2 people & you can not control the radiator in room so the heat was overly excessive.

IrelandThe rooms were far too warm to a point where it was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep. There was 6 couples staying and they all said the same thing. Also the restaurant was uncomfortably warm. The food was excellent but the service wasn't great. some had ordered steaks and were nearly finished when they got sauces chips and other sides.
The hotel was lovely and the room was really comfortable and clean, and the reception staff were very helpful and kind.

IrelandThe bar closed at 10.30pm on Monday night, and any drinks after this time required calling for a night porter and can only accept card payments after this time. The Ivy bar had a strange setup and no atmosphere because of this. The bathroom in the hotel room was very poor, paint coming off ceiling, chips in bath tub and water temperature would fluctuate.
