It is a big house which is very cozy and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is free parking in front of the hostel. Numerous thanks again to the hosts for the self-check-in and for the trust. Drivers, be ready roads in this part of Ireland are very narrow :) I certainly recommend this place. I will deffo be back :)

Lovely hostel in a beautiful area. I booked it pretty last minute but found it spotless on arrival and the staff had left very clear instructions for check in. The kitchen has everything you’d need and the room was spacious. Highly recommend!

The most amazing staff, beautiful location just off the ring of Kerry, perfect half way point. Bed in dorm was super comfortable and warm.

Shower lacks privacy. Wasn't a problem as there was nobody else in the dorm that night.

In the bathroom, condensation dripped from the window on my head in the morning.

We stopped for the night during our trip on the Ring of Kerry, the hostel located about 10 km from the route, which is not much, but given the low price, I definitely recommend this place for a stop. There is a shop nearby, but there is almost nothing in it, also a small pub.

The only criticism was the green light on the emergency exit sign. Knowing health and safety and how stringent H&S authority are the sign needs to be there, but less illumination from the green LED would be a huge plus, or even curtains around the bed would have helped but that's just me being picky, I like complete darkness for sleep. I will add a small roll of masking tape to my travel bag from now on though, it's something I have thought of before but always forget

At first I was confused on arrival as it was dark and I was unsure of which building I was going to. It was all good after that though. I didn't meet any staff (I don't think) but on arrival I found an envelope with my name and directions to my room. The room was warm and the bed was really comfy, I needed a good rest after a long day of driving and the accommodation didn't disappoint. There was nice views from the room and the kitchen seemed well equipped. I would 100% stay here again.

It was too warm inside. And we didn't find a play room that appeared on the booking website. Our daughters kept asking for it.

Perfect hostel for a family of 4. The room was perfect. It had a double bed, a bunk bed and a bathroom! The living room had lots of games and jigsaws to keep us entertained for a while!

It is quite remote but there is a shop and a pub next door so you have everything you need. Not suitable if you don’t have a car.

It was nice and cheap, common room and kitchen were great for making new friends. We had a great night. There’s a pub and a shop next door which is great and the pub has a pool table

Beautiful location. Clean ensuite twin room. Well equiped kitchen and sitting room. Bar/shop with sufficient groceries to make a simple meal, two doors down the road. And very helpful staff. They helped us out with a sprained ankle and dropped us off in the next village!

Grocery store next door doesn't have all items. Plan to bring items you need before you arrive.

Rather remote, which is fine if you have a car. I did not and taxis are scarce and pricey. Greater availability of staff over phone and Internet (booking.com) would be helpful.

There is no key to enter the hostel/room but it dosn't feel unsafe.

This was a real surprise : we booked on a last minute and found the most clean , friendly and spacious hostel ! It is part of a group of buildings comprising of a community center , school services and digital hub for the surrounding area. A real gem at a fraction of the cost of the nearby hotels
