Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When I went to dining hall they had no yoghurt.
The reception staff were very helpful. The room was very good clean and fresh. Overall decoration throughout was impressive.

Only complaint we have was the room was absolutely boiling in the morning, had to open a window to cool down
It was a handy location for us since we had a party 10 minutes walk away and the staffs were readily available to assist us with anything. Had all the basics necessities that you need, hairdryer, hot iron, TV, etc. If you want to watch TV in the darkness, the remote even lights up. It's audio beside an electric pub called The Ginger Man

There were a couple cleanliness opportunities that I came across. When we went to use the water kettle in our room it had pieces of something in it. I tried washing it out, but never felt good enough about using it. The drains in the bathroom seemed to have an odor coming from them. When we used the shower the odor wasn't as bad, but when the shower had not been in use for a while there was definitely an odor that stayed in the bathroom. None of that was obviously a deal breaker for me, but I would say that does need some attention.
The check-in was super simple and after traveling for so long we needed super simple. The staff at the desk were always very friendly and helpful. The beds were absolutely the most comfortable beds (at a hotel) that I've ever slept on.

The fan in the bathroom didn't work. It took a while to clean the tables in the restaurant/bar - but it was the day of the Dublin city marathon when we noticed this and the hotel was super busy.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and relatively modern. The onsite cafe is great with good coffee and pastries. The location is really good for exploring the city on foot.

Property was in a good location and nicely maintained. Staff was friendly. Excellent breakfast at the property. Room was clean and comfortable though the setup was a little strange (in the junior suite the bed was less than 3 feet from the door).

Lovely modern hotel near city centre. Room was clean & well equipped. Quiet room despite being near busy streets. Parking in a secure garage just 2 minutes walk away. Stayed for concert in Dublin but would stay again.

Wash cloths would be a nice addition.
