Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceUnfortunately during our stay there was a technical problem with electricity and we could not use the individual power sources of our beds at all (side lights, sockets, etc). That was uncomfortable cause I could not read at night or charge my phone overnight, BUT administration and staff took measures to restore and we appreciated it. They gave us mini power banks, free towels x2 & free luggage storage the day of our departure. Staff generally were very kind and helpful! Wish I remembered their names, but they were many!
Location was top 🔝🔝🔝! 5’ walking from Temple Bar District and O’conells street, very central but quiet at night, surrounded by a lot of supermarkets, restaurants of different cuisines, malls and… Penneys (Primark)! Truly innumerable choices for shopping and entertainment, we saved all the money we would use for transportation! Safe to walk at night. Hostel was new, so were all the premises, big kitchen and common rooms on multiple levels. A lot of people were relaxing there, we preferred not to, since the temperature was a bit low for our standards (was December) and kitchen sometimes was smelly from people’s use. We had a dorm with 4 beds, it was clean & there was cleaning service every day. Wardrobes had no lockers, you had to buy one or have your own. Every bed had 2 shells, curtain, small hooks for towels, a small side light and a socket.

FranceThe light in the shower goes off in approx. 20 sec and then it is complete dark unless you move to the shower door. Other customers already left same comment however no action taken. The small light next to bed was not working so reading is not possible. The common space has not a single quiet area to chill as everywhere loudspeakers are installed and connected playing quite loud music from the bar (that is definitely ,not to the taste of everyone), so if you plan just to have a conversation with a new/old friend or read a book in chill area be prepared to have "pumping" music as a sound background.
The location is really great and you can reach many tourist attractions by foot. the building is new, everything is really clean and tidy and the staff is helpful. The mattress, bed sheets and pillow were comfortable and separate shower and wc in the room is much appreciated as you do not need to walk outside the room to go there. Next to bed on the wall the USB charger socket is available and you can also get a charger for you phone at a reception.

United Kingdom4 of us booked a bed in a 4 bed dorm and asked if we would be in the same room which was confirmed that we would. Just before arriving we were told this might not be the case so would have to pay extra to guarantee it. The sensors for the shower room and toilet could do with being longer.

FranceUnfortunately, the plugs did not work next to our bed. We had to use an extension to charge our cellphone. We thought the electricity plug next to our bed was broken. Some beds the electricity works, other does not. Maybe the staff has to check the plugs each time they clean the bed.
My journey in this hostel was very cool. We have curtain to be separated to the others,

United KingdomOnly down side was that because it was still so new they hadn't quite finished everything - no power in the rooms on the top floor but they provided portable chargers. Has probably been rectified by now though!
Brand new hostel with great facilities and heaps of staff to help. Dorm beds well thought out with half enclosure and curtains. Location is super convenient, right in the middle of town.

BelarusAir conditioning: We lived on a 5th floor in a 8-persons room and there was clearly not enough air to breathe. Once we even asked a management to check a condition. They’ve made it and said that it’s OK. Well, it’s not. Also, the only one window in our room was closed and it’s not possible to open it: we were said that it’s a strict rule because of the high floor… Doors noise: guys, do something with doors. The toilet door on our floor knocked each time so hard, that my bed was vibrating. It’s not normal at all. In 21st century there are some mechanisms, you know, to fix it 😉 No rules: For example, half of our food which we storages in the common fridge, with labels and names on it, was eaten by someone. Some people from our room entered in 2 am, switching on the lights. I know some similar hostels as this one, in Germany. They do a lot to let guests feel safety and respectful to each other. Just putting some stickers with the information about rules signed by your hostel on a fridge, on a door, near the elevator for example. So guests will be aware of the rules and will see it all the time.
Situated in a very center, it’s just cool! Nice atmosphere in public spaces of the hostel, a lot of place where you can sit, work, eat and feel cozy. In few words, looks very nice and modern but…

NetherlandsA very small number of the staff (2 , to be exactly) act like they are doing the client a favor, instead their jobs. One girl said:" So faltava essa, eu ter quer ficar abrindo porta agora/ Now, I must also keep opening the door ", because I tap my card at the entrance 2, but did not realized the door was already open. But she didn't know that I also speak Portugese. Other guy responded in a dismissal way, when I asked him some of the House 's rule, saying only that I should have known the policy, since I signed for booking my stay.
Good location, room is relative comfortable for the price paid. Good value for money,if you are not planning to stay in the room for long.
