An ideal hostel stay, a few minor areas for improvement
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Standard Twin Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

The main negatives were that bedding and towels were stained - with what appeared to be either blood or foundation, the hair/shower gel was empty within the private room, and the opening/closing of doors in the corridor was loud and mildly infuriating. While this is most likely due to the fire safety closing mechanism clicking every time to ensure the door shuts, it was very noticeable.

Convenient location, bedroom was clean (with a few exceptions), staff were friendly, good amenities, and a good atmosphere overall.

2nd bunk was a bit of a struggle but comfortable once in. No soap dispensers in the toilets. Room was a little stuffy, but this was the fault of people in the room who had the floor covered in laundry

Great location. Security is top notch. Lots of great facilities. The ease of checking in was really appreciated. This would be ideal for young and old solo or group travellers. There was a table quiz on in the bar, which was a cool spot.. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and was very cheap as an add on. I was on a flying visit of just one night, but would imagine this is an ideal place for travellers staying for a few days. The bunks were private and the lockers large. USB and USb-C chargers. Two lights and plugs. Very clean. Fresh immaculate linen. Highly recommended

The room was small and had no space to put your things. The price did not include a towel or breakfast which made it quite lacking in the amenities of the accommodation for such a high price. Even though we are talking about a hostel in a European country it did not have European type sockets and if you asked for one the accommodation did not have one unless you bought it. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable and the pillows were too flat. There was no hot water during a short shower.

The accommodation staff were very friendly and pleasant. The wifi network was in pretty good condition. It was particularly pleasant that the room consisted of 4 beds. The room was quite clean. Also, the property had several common entertainment areas, as well as a bar with some food and drink options. The location was excellent, very close to main Dublin attractions as well as public transport stops.

The fact that you have to pay extra if you want to store luggage for a few hours or to check in early even if the room is available. No where in the blurb did I see this mentioned.

The bathroom cleanliness was the only downside! Even though the bathrooms are renovated, they weren't cleaned before we arrived, and no one cleaned them during our 2-night stay. If you're unlucky and end up with messy roommates, this can make the room's shared bathroom situation unpleasant. Overall, I'd still recommend this hostel for its location, amenities and atmosphere, but they could improve on the bathroom cleaning schedule.

We had a great stay at this hostel! The location was perfect, right in the city center, close to many attractions, and with easy access to transportation to the airport. The hostel itself is modern, well-organized, and fully equipped. The self-check-in and check-out process was easy and convenient. There's a 24/7 reception and a common area that's always open if you want to relax, plus there are snacks choices for late-night cravings. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hostel has looks new.

The room had stuff that had been there while no one else than me was staying. Didn't really bother me it was just odd.

Great spaces, the bathroom was maybe the best I've had in a hostel shared room (although the shower knob fell off). The bed with the curtain gave you enough space and privacy. The check-in and -out were self-directed which I liked. Nice staff.

There were not enough hangers and something like a stick for them because not all things can be folded. The drain in the bathroom was clogged but it was due to the tenants. The room is not cleaned often, maybe it is worth it . Also, don't forget to ask for a lock for the locker yourself!!!! This is not a minus, but you need to inform us that you need it.

I liked the location, it is right near the center of Dublin. A curtain that covers your bed, a separate toilet and bathroom, each with a sink, which was very convenient. I would say that it was safe on this street, there is a shop nearby, a trolleybus station or something that runs on the tracks. In short, the red line and this place is super convenient! There is also a shopping center nearby.

Our room had an on suite and all the shampoos/conditioners were empty. We completely ran out of toilet paper and asked front desk for more, . They never sent someone so I went down and they handed me a roll. Which we couldn’t install just sat it on top.

The location is excellent. The ease of xheck in and out.

It's barely a complaint but I'd say the price of a pint was a bit expensive. There are plenty of places in Dublin where you can go for a drink instead. I particularly liked Chaplin's pub which sold a pint of lager for $5.40 and has a great atmosphere.

The bed is great. It has a good curtain and sleep is easy. Everything is nice and modern. Clean facilities. The location is in the centre of Dublin which makes walking around super easy. There's a Japanese restaurant that's right next to the hostel which all had a big queue. I'd recommend it. Plenty of space for luggage. I took a 10kg suitcase and a backpack, and there was still loads of room. The accommodation met all expectations.

The bottom bedsheet wasn't fitted and popped up from the corners after a night or two. It was a pretty minor fix. Additionally, there were outlets right where the pillows were and it was an odd location to have a phone plugged in and the light was accidentally turned on a few times because of the switch location.

The location was amazing and great to be able to walk right downtown with no difficulties. We paid a bit extra for a city view and I thought it made coming back to the room and still see Dublin.
