Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsNothing, I loved staying here and the environment is really gorgeous. I would perhaps even go there again and this part of Ireland has been my best vacation so far. Definitely recommend it to everyone. My rating for value is that it is relatively pricey, but in my opinion still worth it. It's also relevant to know that there are no restaurants or supermarket at comfortable walking distance (it is walkable, like 30 minutes, but the roads are not ideal with fast going cars). For me this is not a disadvantage of the b&b itself, but still good to know.
The cottage is great, with excellent quite healthy breakfasts. The hosts were super nice, and the location is ideal. It should be clear that this is really a shared B&B kind of arrangement with multiple rooms (so there can be other guests in the shared space and you're basically renting a private hotel room (bed + bathroom)). It's also important to realize (before you go) that the cottage is not very far away from the cliffs of Moher, but it is further than it may look like on the map. It's at least a good 30 minute walk to arrive at the cliffs. It is best to come by car to the cottage. The cottage has great views and a very peaceful atmosphere, but do note that the sea-view is looking at a bay and not at the cliffs.

United StatesWe loved everything
This property exceeded our expectations. The photos do not do it justice - the home is brand new and exceptionally clean. My husband and I traveled all over Ireland for 2 weeks and this was our favorite place to stay. Mary and Dan keep the property very clean and provide everything you can need. Breakfast was simple but more than enough, we enjoyed homemade toasties as a nice change from eating out so much. We initially planned to ferry to the Aran islands while we were there but changed our plans due to weather - Dan provided many food and adventure recommendations for us. We also visited a farm just 2 properties over that allows you to feed and pet the animals for 10 euros. We were also obsessed with the cows on the property across the road. One night we sat in our room with the lights off and window open just to watch the cows. It was a beautiful stay! (FYI you will need a rental car to get around)

AustraliaNothing that we didn't like. The only suggestions would be to have a tv and coffee/tea making facilities in the bedrooms. These are in the communal living/dining areas, but it would have been nice to also have them in the bedroom. We were lucky to share the space with a lovely couple but, if the house was busy, it would be nice to have some privacy.
The whole place was spotlessly clean. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. The view from the living room window was special. Very close to Cliffs of Moher, which were amazing. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. Daniel was especially informative about places for us to visit on our travels.

United StatesThere could’ve been more storage in the bathroom to set to be able to set things down while getting ready. If you are looking for the full Irish breakfast, this is not the place. But for us It was great.
The place was immaculate and decorated very tastefully. The breakfast was nice with fresh fruit, yogurt and French press coffee.

United StatesPrices were dear for what’s being offered. Spot is lovely and well cared for but at more than €160 a night it is not cheap (not that much around Liscannor is).
Awesome location for spending time at the Cliffs of Moher. Very friendly and welcoming hosts.

United StatesThe room was warm and stuffy even with the window open. A floor fan was needed but we could not find one.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to both the south and north section of the Cliffs of Moher. The beds were comfortable and the shower bathroom was very good and functional.

IrelandThere is nothing we didn't like as we liked everything. The only point to note down is the lack of soundproof insulation which unfortunately affects most of Irish houses, so it's not unique to Comway's. We've been lucky that our upstairs neighbour went to bed early, otherwise we would enjoy hearing them talking and walking all night.
- Super friendly and hospitable hosts. We met 3 members of the family during the course of our stay and all of them were very nice. - Great location - about 5 minutes drive to Cliffs of Moher. - The place is new / recently refurbished inside out. Also super clean. - Fast wi-fi. You'd be surprised how many other places fail on this basic necessity. - Fresh and tasty breakfast albeit a bit limited in selection.

GermanyDaniel and his mum were so nice and accommodating. We asked if an early breakfast was possible as we wanted to check out very early to get to the Cliffs of Moher before all the tourist buses. They prepared it the night before and everything was delicious. Daniel gave us lots of great tips for places to visit and was so funny that I could well imagine having a Guinness with him in the pub. The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed sitting in the living room with the large windows overlooking the sea. It felt like we had our own little home in Ireland, that's how comfortable the made us feel there. I would definitely recommend it to others.

PortugalNo complaints! It was wonderful and we’d absolutely stay there again!
Spotlessly clean! That was the first thing we noticed. Mary was very accommodating with the early check in and super helpful with everything. David, who was taking care of the breakfast, is most friendly and gave us a few tips about the area. All in all — great place, lots of fresh air, wonderful breakfast, would absolutely recommend!
