There rooms aren’t soundproof so you can listen to EVERYTHING in the other rooms and the pub downstairs

Good place to crash if it’s only for one night The food is nice and the pints are cheap

A fun place to stay above a pub in a very small town. There's an awesome general store with great cafe options a couple of hundred feet away.

My room had a fridge but no wardrobe or drawer which was a shock. No worries as only stayed for one night but if for longer, would be an issue.

Expectations achieved! Surprised to have a fridge in my room.

The steel stairs outside to the rooms was a bit scary in the wet with one step rattling as you put weight on it. The smell of the kitchen was very obvious being directly above it but didn't bother me after the door was shut. Parking is always a challenge in small towns so we were lucky to have one nearby albeit trashy.

Dinner at the pub was adequate since we arrived a bit late and there was limited choices by then. Our room upstairs was quite nice with a reasonably new shower room & toilet. Tea & coffee in room. I was there to chase up my family history. Great Great Granny Anne Cooney came from there so cemeteries were top of my list. With the help of the local cafe staff across the road for a nice breakfast I met a resident Mr Cooney who directed me to a nearby cemetery that I would have otherwise missed. Parking was a bit tricky across the road in a rubbish laden lot with other cars taking up more space than needed.

Access to the rooms is up an outside staircase so a little inconvenient when it's raining. Also seemed expensive for what you get.

A very friendly place and a nice, clean room with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bartender was great and made me a toastie when I arrived late in the evening.

It would have been nice to have a TV in the room. My only negative

Perfect location for my evening hike, really great value and so handy to be beside the pub to avail of food for both dinner and breakfast the next morning. Really friendly staff and local customers.
