Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThis place is not a place for booking. We paid 457 Euros for this house for two days. It definitely does not deserve this money. If a few simple things were improved, it could be a good hotel: The beds are uncomfortable. There was very little dishwashing detergent. There was no shampoo or shower gel. There was very little food. The sink is still clogged, it works very slowly. The seats in the living area are bad. My advice to the landlord is, if you take your job seriously, please take these recommendations into consideration. or quit this job.

We were attending NAC in Blanchardstown it was exceptionally early mornings and we decided to stay one night. The lodge is only 15 minutes away and I like the fact that you can get your breakfast as early as you like. Even though there is an air fryer etc... we used Just Eat that delivered. Have told our Wexford swim club about Delphi Lodge and they will be staying during the NAC galas.

AustraliaThere was a sofa bed in the living area which needs throwing out! It was so uncomfortable to sit on. The seating cushions were too small which meant the bed frame wasn’t covered. When you sat down you were sitting on the frame. The single beds were spring beds which were excruciating to sleep on. Might be ok for children but unbearable for adults. There was no body wash/shampoo/conditioner supplied. There was nowhere to place your suitcases other than the floor. The water cut out on at least 6/7 times over our two nights making it difficult when you’re in the shower and it runs out of water! We were also extremely shocked to find that we were staying in the grounds of a Self Storage facility. There certainly wasn’t any reference to that in the listing. Overall I would not recommend it especially for the price they charge.

United KingdomWe came back from our evening to no water in the bathroom and kitchen. However I texted the owner first thing in the morning and they had a plumber out within 2 hours.

United KingdomWhere do I start! 1. Arrived at the property to find it was occupied by other people. 2. Spoke to the host who asked the other party to move, the other party were then very rude to myself and my family because they had to move. 3. The host had nobody on site to clean the property before we occupied it (we were not going to stay there without it being cleaned again due to it being occupied by others). 4. The host offered an alternative, it looked like a poorly fitted out shed, I declined as my family did not want to stay there. 5. Asked for a refund and was declined, it should gave been an immediate refund, the cottage was already occupied by others, this was the bottom line. 6. Had to chase booking.com for a refund was also declined, apparently because the host offered me an alternative no matter how bad the "alternative" was! 7. Had to go through a process with my bank to secure a refund. All in all, I would not recommend this place at all.

IrelandWhen booking confirmed we got email said 1 room, we had booked 2, we took screenshot and whatsapped number on email, even though the whataspp was opened immediately the person couldn't be bothered to answer, 24 hrs later we had to ring to confirm, this was SHOCKING as we HAD to have 2 rooms which we had but this person couldn't be bothered to reply. There was no place to hang coats even though there was a wall between the entrance door and the sitting room to hang such a coat rack, so we had 4 people coats every where , you couldnt make this up, this would cost about 20 euro to do. The tap in the kitchen sink was broke and leaked water everywhere so technically we could have been blamed even though we had nothing to do with it. There was no mat in the shower how these people havent been sued i dont know because someone is going to break their neck in it. There was no glass in the bathroom sink to use to wash mouth with water and the type of taps there you couldn't drink from them. After 16 European cities and 2 trips to America first time we had to buy toilet paper.

United KingdomFacilities were very basic. The 'cottage' is actually a converted shipping container situated in a builder's yard. There was a very bright security light which came on randomly through the night, shining into the bedroom - no curtains on window, just a plain blind.
Not a lot to be honest

IrelandThe TV wouldn't display video on the Saturday morning but we just put on a radio channel so it wasn't much of an issue and it was working that evening.
Initially taken aback at the "cottage" but the accommodation was cosy, clean and the beds especially comfortable. For us the location was superb as we were visiting Emerald Park and it is only 11 minutes away. Access to shops and takeaways in Ashbourne is only 5 minutes away and shopping and additional dining are available in Blacjhardstown just 14 minutes in the other direction (we wanted to nip in for Nados after the park).

United StatesIt was very hard to find Delphi Cottages. The big sign at the entrance is for a self storage place and the cottage sign was small and dark. We had to ask a stranger, who called the main office to tell us how to get there.

United StatesThis place was behind a storage area which was not mentioned before. It was warn out over the years. Dirty . There was pee in the toilet when we arrived. Kitchen was dirty, floors had grit on them. Spikers everywhere. Paint was chipped on walls and above moldings. This place was the worst of all I had rented. WE DID NOT STAY. It was CREEPY! WE could wipe the stove with our fingers and remove stains. If that is painted every six months they need to repair patches in the walls and finger prints on the walls. This place is worn out and you need to tell people is is located behind storage garages.
