Charming, rugged and beautiful surrounds with no distractions. Facilities - the surrounding area is great for the outdoorsy - there is loads to see and do. In the hotel itself - I just used the thermal suite - jacuzzi was very good.

We had a family suite for four people but was big enough for double that! The kids enjoyed the Bog Obstacle course, whilst the adults were self-indulging in spa treatments. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

The food was very reasonable, and we had a lovely breakfast each morning. The staff were fantastic: Deirdre who checked us in on arrival was so helpful and Clodagh looked after us very well in the spa and thermal suite.

Breakfast was not good. Food was cold and appeared to have been cooked the night before. Very poor selection of fruit, yogourts pastrys and breads. All of my extended family stay at various times over each summer but I will reconsider before I book again. Outside could do with a good tityup. Our window looked out on to the back of the building and it looked scruffy.
The Hotel is located on the grounds of my Ancestors home so it is a very special place to my family. The scenery is so beautiful. Its nice and quiet. The bed very comfortable. Staff lovely.
