Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off so it was a bit noisy but not too big of a complaint.
Handy spot to stay for one night, small clean rooms and comfy bed.

On initial check in receptionist gave us no information on our block and room number and did not direct on how to get to the block we were staying in, we met another member of staff on the way to the courtyard and they directed us in the right direct (very helpful). Once we got to our room, there was other peoples belongings in it so we went back to reception to make them aware and they swapped our rooms. Perhaps receptionist was new / in training but there was no indications of this. Overall room was nice

Communal spaces not very clean (even after days), but the room was clean.
Staff was kind and very helpful, wifi was working everywhere in the building, it also had a water dispenser to refill water bottles. Beds are small (as mentioned everywhere) but two people can easily fit.

Wish the bed could have been bigger for 2 people sharing and price a little cheaper for all the size of the bed and room

Some of our towels had stains on them or either weren’t washed, the room was spotless though couldn’t fault the room

A great place to stay. The location is close to public transport and Dublin City Center. Rooms are new, clean and tidy, with plenty of sunlight. The big kitchen with self-catering facilities is brilliant! The staff are friendly and helpful. The front Desk staff, Juan has helped me with laundry during my stay, much appreciated! Also thanks to the Reception staff Anuroop and Muhammad etc. I would definitely recommend this place.

1. The location is great. We didn’t take a bus or luas. Just walk to attractions nearby. Even ran to Phoenix park which’s about 2 KM from the hotel. 2. The staffs are patient and helpful. Thank you. (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)

Bathroom unclean - hairs and dirt visible. No hand soap provided in the bathroom - you must bring some or use the mini bottles of shower gel The option for late checkout is €10 extra to stay until 12pm - 10am is extremely early and 12pm is more like a standard check out time
Great location Reasonably priced Lovely shower 24 hour reception and large, spacious comfortable area to lounge downstairs without being bothered by anybody. Ping pong and pool tables also

Would have liked a kettle in my room but this was a minor inconvenience kitchen was nearby.
This is better than a hostel but not a hotel. It's available during the summer months for anyone to book a room even if you're not a student. The rooms all have an ensuite shower but the double bed is a smaller size than usual. It's great for solo travellers but may be too small for couples. It's very clean. You are allowed one free towel from reception which you must return to reception. You can also collect tea, coffee sachets, milk sachets and toiletries from reception. You are not allowed to eat or drink in your room but there are kitchen facilities on each floor that all residents can use. So if you wanted to do self catering it has all the facilities cooker, microwave, fridge, etc. The main thing I liked was the price It's so much more economical than a hotel and it's very near bus routes etc.
