Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Bed is a little too small for a double bed, however for the price, can't really complain. No induction pots working in the kitchen.
Quiet, working wifi, very nicely decorated, lots of communal space. Able to park and pay parking online. Spacious kitchen on every floor.

The only issue was not having a tv in the room, but there is a shared kitchen/living room with all the facilities anyone would need
I liked the location, very central to Dublin City, and the building is very safe, secure and spotlessly clean.

Staff were brilliant on check-in. Both efficient and friendly. Rooms are what you would expect from university accommodation, but clean and comfortable. Common spaces are large and well-maintained.

Room is small but was expected. The fan in bathroom can't be turned off completely and was pretty loud.
Easy Check in, Location is good. The Room was clean and so was the shared kitchen fortunately.

They offer towels, soap and shampoo only as an extra fee. But at least they warn you in advance what to expect.
It's clean, modern, nicely situated and quiet.

Construction early in the morning across the street. Had to pay for towels.
Area was new and a bit out of the city center. They had full facilities that were 24/7.

Towels are not provided for your stay, but are available to rent. No tv in the rooms. Automatic light in bathroom turns off while showering.
Location. Close to tourist attractions and only a 15 minute walk to city centre. Laundry facilities are on site.

I should have known while booking a student accommodation but the bed was super small. If you are travelling solo, its perfect. If booking for 2 people, then not the best room to book.
Good friendly staff! Great location, close to city centre. Can be reached via a direct bus, 2 mins walking from the hotel.

We have to pay for the towels. And for the space of the room, I think it is quite pricey.
The location is great. The accomodation is very modern and clean. The staff working there is super nice and welcoming.

There was a construction site right in front of my window. I woke up before the works started so it didn't bother me, but it started making noise that were very hearable from the room as early as 8.30am so be aware of that as many people could be woken up by this. The rules of the property are technically a bit strict: no food and drinks in the room, you're not allowed to have other people in your appartment, etc., but I don't know how much these are enforced. Also no towel and TV could be a problem for some people, but if you're aware of this before you come, it's all good.
I was honestly surprised by the standard of this property! The rooms were very clean, it was simple but plenty of storage and a desk. No towel but other free stuff at reception. Very functional! Also, it was during the week so not sure my floor was fully booked, but no noise from guests. I could hear very well the guest next door taking his curtain up and down so I thought I would hear him go to the bathroom, walk or his alarm, but I didn't at all. I also thought I was have to share spaces with other, but the rooms were set in such a way that it didn't seem like a shared appartement, just a corridor with rooms, like most hotels.

The sheet and the duvetcover were dirty. I worked in an Irish hotel so I know that there is a linen cleaning company who is doing a really bad job, but still you can look after this.
The hotel was in the citycenter, we can reach the favourite areas in a 10-15 minute walk. Community area looked amazing.

You have to pay for the towels and leave a deposit for the hair dryer.
Dublin is extremely expensive, and this place was the only affordable option. For one night stay, this student accommodation is perfect. You usually don't need much for a one-night stay, but the place is excellent overall.
