Our room had an adjoining room. One issue we had was that we could hear their TV quite late into the night. It didn't stop us sleeping, but it was quite loud.

We love staying in the Fitzpatrick. This was our first time back post-covid. The hotel has had an overall refurbishment which was lovely to see. Same with the bedrooms...they have all been modernised. Breakfast was delicious - excellent choice!

We were in the older part of the Castle and therefore, no elevator.

The staff was amazing!! From the moment we checked in we knew we had made the right choice for our anniversary lodgings! literally every contact we had for our 3-day stay was professional, courteous and kind. we checked in a little late, hungry after a long trip and were offered fresh sandwiches brought to our room. Jack was a trooper, as he had to make a couple of trips back and forth. every part of the hotel was spotless, the grounds perfectly landscaped. The breakfast was amazing, varied and delicious, and the staff attentive and helpful. But the most memorable event came on our 3rd day, when, as we leaving to finally meet some relatives at a restaurant at the Bray seafront, we were handed a bouquet of flowers and a lovely dessert. (I had mentioned it was our 7th anniversary on7/7) by Andrea, a top 10 employee, in my estimation! Not only that, they also mentioned that we were going to be spending our last night in a different room! When we got back that evening, we were shown our surprise-one of the most beautiful rooms we had ever seen! This topped off a wonderful trip to Ireland, and we will be back. Thanks again for all of the never to be forgotten memories. Our expectations had been met and exceeded many times over!

The ladies toilets in the lobby area smelled very unpleasant; dampness. Also, the mirrors in the bathrooms were too high for a 5ft person to put on make up. But not a deal-breaker.

A really lovely staff team made our stay feel very welcome.

The biggest gripe was that there were no plugs anywhere near the bed. Only other criticism was the room was so warm, although they did provide a great fan with the room which was a necessity

The staff are so friendly and helpful, particular shout out to the bar staff in the dungeon bar and the breakfast staff. The rooms are spacious and look great.

As mentioned above regarding the serving of food in the lobby.

Breakfast was nice. Location and view from the bedroom balcony was great. Gym was fantastic. It is a shame that the food in the lobby stops at 5pm, as the only choice left is to eat at the downstairs in the Cellar Eatery.

Being clamped in the car park! I think reception forgot to enter our registration into the system? we were not the only ones either! The manger sorted it out at no cost, but it took nearly 2 hours! We can't risk staying here in the future because of this.

Room was big, staff were very friendly and food was great.

The only thing I can complain about is that there was no hairdryer in the room. There was an iron but not a hairdryer. I requested one and it came quick but it was really bad. My daughter has long thick hair, I was nearly an hour taking breaks and in the end we had to go down to the changing rooms for the pool to use the hairdryers there. I have very little hair and I could not even get mine done. Everything was so good and perfect that it didnt make sense that the hotel had such a cheap bad quality hairdryer! It is a small thing that can so easily be improved. That is the reason why I didnt give a 10 out of 10. It caused me a bit of inconvenience, however, I will go back again, I will just bring my own hairdryer next time :). Also, breakfast was very good but there was only one member of staff for everything when we arrived.

Everything! Beds were the best, rooms super clean, spacious family rooms, shower great, towels,, swimming pool, friendly staff and location is great with playground and Killiney Hill Park just beside it. It exceeded my expectations.

The building is tired and past its best - a shadow of the experience when I stayed 10 years ago. A noisy ventilation/extraction system outside the bedroom block keeps you awake and the breakfast was at best average - you shouldn't expect cold, congealed fried eggs at breakfast. It appears now to be a coach party destination.

It's an amazing location with great views over the bay if you climb the hill! Staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Very minor - Could have done with a bin in the bedroom, the furniture in the rooms were a bit dated but completely functional so not really a complaint

Beautiful hotel, lovely, big comfy beds and beautiful bathroom. Ideal for our family stay. Pool is great for the kids. Breakfast was lovely with lots of variety. We ate dinner in the Dungeon bar and it was delicious.

The rooms were always too hot , a little dated and the beds were uncomfortable, we had to change pillows as to hard and no support. The breakfast was good but only if you get there when they reload the buffet food to which was lacking at times. The coffee and tea/sugar weren't always filled up.

The location was excellent and the views were spectacular! The hotel was clean and roomy with very helpful staff.

One of us had a problem with their television not working properly, and unfortunately they could not correct it so that it would work while we were there, but that was minor. Had a room coffee maker that did not work.

Everything was well appointed and beautiful, the beds were amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful.

We had a room with a shared door to the room next to us. There was a young family in there and we could hear every word. As we were there for business we were up and out early the next day so sadly it put a bit of a damper on the experience for us. The next night we were moved, but to a tiny little attic room. We did get a lovely bottle of wine however as compensation.

Great location, lovely interior, bar and restaurant. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
