Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe toilet wasn't really well cleaned upon arrival and pillows are slightly uncomfortable
The staff were really friendly and absolutely a pleasure to interact with. It is very worth for money given the location. The beds, duvet and views were great as well!

United Kingdomthe beds were uncomfortable, as were the pillows (only one each and flat!). we were woken up 3 times in the night by people knocking on our door and running away, so perhaps it wasn’t the right choice for a couple!
the staff were super friendly and the king room was spacious! helpful having a TV and some hangers too!

ItalyThe fact that there is not a common kitchen, not even a fridge to store food in. In fact no external food is allowed inside the premises and I think that this is a big nono for a place that calls itself a hostel. Especially when the only breakfast available is so poor and overpriced. I did not appreciate the lack of a storage room, just lockers for pay. Even then cheapest hostel or hotel offers to it's customers this kind of service for free.
Great position, loved the style and the atmosphere. The staff is very nice and the rooms are comfortable.

United Statesit’s a bit pricy, I mean compared to other Dublin hostels is not bad but in europe in general it’s pricy. the bathrooms are not in the best state, many out of order and many with the locks broken. they need a bit of a touch up.
Overall a solid place to stay, the dorm room was nice and clean, Wi-Fi worked well everywhere, staff were friendly. there is a cafe/bar and breakfast option, I think you can get food later in the day also. location was fine, about 15 minutes to temple bar area

IrelandWe were delayed checking into our room as it was not ready for us until after 14.30pm. It would be much better to have earlier check-in time.

United StatesThe molds in the suite’s bathroom ceilings were visible. the bedsheets were not the cleanest and the inside of the sheet sleeves were stained. I didn’t like how dirty my roommates were. but that’s a personal situation.
The decorations are very nice. I love the atmosphere and the looks of the designs. young people will love it.

IrelandBreakfast, I was expecting something more to be available. The pastry was delicious, but I do have to say the rest of the food that I saw, was not appealing.
I loved how comfy the bed was, been to lots of hostels and this is the only one that had a comfortable bed. The bar and game area were very spacious.

IrelandNo bathroom in dorm, I had to go up 2 floors to access them. Bathroom/showers were untidy and smelled kinda funky. Expensive for what it is, but that's the case for any place in Dublin at the moment.
Staff were super friendly, excellent location in city centre. Dorm was clean and well proportioned.

United StatesIt was near impossible to take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom, which meant with six of us in the room, the bathroom was always basically somewhere between a puddle and a lake. I hated using it, to a point where I started trying to go down three flights to use the generally accessible bathroom instead - at least that was clean and well-maintained.
Location was great - in a sort of plaza with tons of restaurants, cafes and a grocery store nearby, plus it was a max five minute walk to a tram line and tons of buses. Really easy to get around. Also really close to the river, which was great. Our room also opened onto the plaza and had a small balcony. Really nice. Good amount of open social space with a bunch of games downstairs.

AustriaI was staying in a 4-beds bedroom, a lot depends on the roommates. It would have been nice to have a locker/safe in the room and also a window that can be opened a bit more to get more fresh air in.
Good location, walking distance to the center and the main attractions but still not in a noisy area. The beds were comfortable, common areas entertaining, staff friendly.

GermanyAlthough it was nice to have the bathroom inside the room, it was a bit noisy. I think for the price it would be nice to have an area to prepare yourself at least a tea, and not have to buy it at the bar or restaurant.
The room was nice, the bed comfortable with plugs and a tiny shelf over the head to leave your phone, book, etc..., everything (room and bathroom) was very clean. The location is perfect, super near also from the bus stop of the airport bus.
