Everything was perfect, I couldn't fault it.

Heather House on the Wild Atlantic Way is a wonderful place to stay and spend a few days exploring the area. It's beautifully decorated throughout with a calming and relaxing atmosphere. We received a lovely welcome from our hosts Ingrid and Bill who were very accomadating towards us and our little dog. We stayed in the apartment which was spotless, warm and cosy and with a large comfortable bed.

Absolutely nothing. Wish all dog friendly accommodation could be half as nice.

The apartment is stunning, beautifully decorated, warm, cosy and totally private. I felt at home there instantly. A highlight for me was the picture window at the back of the bed looking out over the fields. I slept with the blind up looking at the stars at night and sheep when I woke. Stunning. The bed is like a cloud to sleep on up in the roof.

Thank you Ingrid and Bill for the perfect stay in the most wonderful guest house. Pefectly positioned in a tranquil area in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. The house is beautiful, with tasteful Scandinavian-style decor, and feels very comfy, warm and homely. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed to make a lovely dinner after a day out. The breakfast was delicious and together with Ingrid and Bill's chats we started the days in the best possible way. They are excellent hosts and lovely people. A wonderful homely B&B within the vicinity of major sights on the Donegal cost. Very friendly host who is keen to provide local advice.

Everything was great.

The hosts are the loveliest people ever. They are so welcoming and when having breakfast with them we could have stayed and talked to them forever. The Bed n Breakfast itself is absolutely beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We didn‘t miss anything and would 100% recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Heather House is like a little jewel in the middle of all the natural beauty that Donegal has to offer. During my stay, I could easily drive to all the places I wanted to explore while at the same time feeling a sense of "coming home" after a day of hiking and enjoying the many delights of the area. Ingrid and Bill pay every attention to detail, from the beautiful appointment of each of the living spaces to the perfectly presented continental breakfast. I can't wait to return again soon!

There's no network signal around and only few restaurants options in the nearby village, which is understandable because it is a small town. So you have to book (call) to the restaurant before you enter the village and make sure you will have a place for dinner.

We loved our stay, the place was spotlessly clean, well designed and beautifully decorated. The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and always willing to help. We had a great time there. In addition, it is only a few minutes from the coast which held beautiful places with amazing views to visit.

Very lovely homestay with probably the best hosts. Breakfast was amazing. View is fantastic from the house and it's very relaxing atmosphere. Scandinavian minimalistic design, everything is new and very well kept.

Heather House is owned and run by a brilliant couple who looked after us extremely well. Nothing was too much trouble. Bill and Ingrid are a great balance to one another. They are interested in their guests and they are also very interesting themselves.

Thank you Bill and Ingrid for the most fantastic experience in your beautiful B&B in Donegal. You've been so kind and welcoming to us and given us lots of great tips, making our stay here beyond enjoyable. The house is lovely, decorated with a lot of taste, and very comfortable - we slept like stones! And waking up with those beautiful views of the landscape is so relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic as well. As for the location, it is perfect. Sliabh Liag is just a few minutes away with the car, like other beautiful places in Donegal. We will definitely come back.
