Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThere were some niggling little fees that were tacked on at the end. And the continental breakfast was basically tea or coffee and toast, so we went out and got our own breakfast.
The room was a bit small but clean, well laid out. The location was within a 20-30 minute walk of the various sites we wanted to see. The staff was friendly and helpful.

DenmarkThe main drawback was the flooding of the bathroom floor when showering. The drain was in an odd place and resulted in the entire floor of the bathroom staying wet for the day. There were tools provided to try and move as much water out as possible but they weren't that effective. There was a worry of water leaking out of the bathroom entirely. The bathroom door was also placed in a way that if left open to air the bathroom/dry the floor it would bang against the entrance/exit and therefore block it if left open.
We got a free taxi ride from the airport which was handy. The room was a good size with natural light and a decently sized comfy double bed. The was an included breakfast of toast, jam, assorted cereals, tea and coffee. There was also tea and coffee provided in the rooms as well as an iron and ironing board. The location was fairly quiet with a 20 minute walk into the main city centre with tourist attractions. It was fairly close to public transport with a 7 minute walk to the LUAS and 15 minute walk to the closest train station. The staff were very friendly.

IrelandThe 20.00 deadline for checking in is a little restrictive for someone like me who invariably checks in between 10.00 pm and midnight but they have an alternative system which works so people shouldn't be put off.

United StatesLift didn’t stop on floors, you had to walk up or down 🤬. Definitely an electrical problem as power outlets kept going off with any increase of power draw. Parking lot was different to find off of a back street into a lane that led to lot. Hot water was on a timer that didn’t come on until 0800. Breakfast didn’t start until 0830
Nice sized room, clean, continental breakfast, staff was helpful on site parking.

SpainThe rooms were pretty close to each other and the walls seem very thin so we would get quite a bit of noise from the neighbours

IrelandBed, was not the most comfortable to sleep in - mattress could probably be upgraded. Only one duvet on bed - an extra blanket would have been nice. Breakfast the next morning was ok, just cereal, fruit, juices, bread and tea or coffee.
Location, 10mins walk into city center. Small breakfast morning after stay - basic, but adequate. Shower and toilets, very clean. Quiet area, no noise heard at all during my stay. Very helpful and friendly staff.

RomaniaThe size of the room and of the bathroom was smaller than I expected judging by the price charged.
The hotel is situated in a great area - only ten minutes walk from the city center, but away from in a safe and lovely area, and you had supermarket and cool pubs in only 3 minutes walk. I also appreciated the smooth process of a late check-in (we arrived at 12 am in the night, when the reception was closed, but due to the clear details, it was very easy to get the room). The staff was very helpful and kind.

ItalyVery convenient to the city centre (15mins walk but there was a bus stop nearby). Tidy comfortable room, with a small but functional bathroom. There were coffee and tea facilities in the room. Room service came everyday to make the bed, clean the bathroom and even replenish the coffee set. Honestly impressed. There is a kitchen for guests to use; there is no hob, only fridge and a microwave but you can still manage to make yourself something for dinner, there are a few minimarkets nearby. No problem whatsoever with the check-in and checkout. Very good deal for the price, definitely recommended

IrelandThe bed was a tad narrow. It would be good to send information about the parking in advance. The parking is reached via a backstreet, and temporarily parking near the front entrance is difficult as it is on a busy street.
We got a spacious room with a sauna and a jacuzzi. The windows are sufficiently soundproof. Breakfast is included, but very basic.
