Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongHonestly, just put in a few more coins and get yourself an AirBnb. The rooms are cold and you can't control the heaters. The dryer doesn't work and when I asked the staff for help, they were so rude and dismissive to me that it actually ruined the entire trip. The staff here are definitely unfriendly to say the least and at times, creepy and outright hostile. Every interaction was a chance to be insulted. How lovely for a trip. Beware of the receptionist Gabriella especially. She is just mean and rude and honestly kind of scary. Worst accommodation choice I've ever made. Maybe sleeping in an old church would be better than this. Oh wait no, this IS an old church. With cracked windows too. PS. DO NOT USE THE WASHING MACHINE!!! It was so filthy and made my clothes even dirtier. Unbelievable.

FinlandThere was visible black mold in the bathrooms I was in (that would take a full renovation to get rid of), rooms and bathrooms were generally a little too humid to be comfortable even in a colder month. While I was fine, the smell of the kitchen facilities and bathrooms along with the other parts made me disappointed.
The staff were nice and helpful, and if you need a place to crash for one night it’s fine.

PolandThe beds have curtains, so it gives a feeling of privacy. The place is a few streets away from the main center, in a quiet neighborhood. There is a convenience store and a bar across the street

NetherlandsThere were a lot of people checking in, only one receptionist. Waiting time for checking in was over an hour. Furthermore every time you entered the hostel the staff behind the reception didnt even bother to greet you. Hard to get some sleep in the hostel. The mattress was uncomfortable and there were lots of noises.
Good price for a location close to the centre of Dublin. Curtains at the beds, so you will have some privacy in the dorm rooms.

CanadaWish there was more going on at our hostel but we also understand it's St. Patrick's day weekend so most things were in the temple bar area anyways and most people wanted to go out to celebrate. The walk to the main area was a little rough/sketchy, especially alone when waiting to meet up with my friend. We always stayed together once we connected, I would not be comfortable doing that walk alone, particularly at night.
My friend and I recently stayed here for St. Patrick's Day and we had an incredible stay. everything was within walking distance, about 10mins to the main areas of town and maybe 15-20mins to the temple bar which was great not having to pay for transportation. The hostel is easily right off the main bus line which makes getting to and from the airport convenient and affordable. The reception stay we met was so kind, gave us tons of recommendations, and allowed us to keep our bags there when we first got to Dublin since check-in wasn't ready yet, and after we checked out so we could enjoy our day without lugging bags with us. The room was huge, we stayed in a 6-bed all-girls dorm, and the beds had tons of privacy with curtains, our outlets, lights, and a mini stand for stuff. The drawers for storing our stuff were small, for a backpack perfect but anything much bigger would be a struggle. The womens washroom was HUGE, lots of showers, stalls, and mirros with counter space. Was not noisy at all, never heard people in the hallway or anyone being loud ever which was shocking since it was a busy weekend for the city. Overall very happy with our stay, and will try to stay here again next time we visit Dublin.

IrelandThe check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The bunk bed was very comfortable, and the added privacy curtains were a fantastic feature. There were numerous toilets and showers, all impeccably clean at any time. Overall, a comfortable and well-maintained place to stay!

Australia- shared bathrooms are very basic. The showers have a single button, meaning neither the temperature nor water pressure can be adjusted. The water runs for 30 seconds then turns off, so you need to continually re-press the button. The shower stalls are really small and have no hooks or benches to place clothing, toiletries or a towel. - towel hire is €5, plus the towel I received had makeup stains on it. - long wait times in reception to check in
- good location; close to the city centre via public transport but away from the chaos.

BrazilThere should be a security agent, first to prevent people from smoking in closed or shared areas, prevent the consumption of alcoholic beverages and vaping on site, as well as marijuana, second to instruct people that, for example, they cannot wash their feet in a sink where others brush their teeth, apart from that the reception team is to be congratulated, many kind and persevering, but the issue of hygiene leaves something to be desired. The laundry room has broken machines and only one dryer for 3 washing machines, equipment such as microwaves and others in the kitchen are broken.
The reception team is very polite and kind, congratulations!!

United StatesThe shower has to be pressed every 10 seconds or it won't stop, the lack of cleaning in the rooms and common areas, our heater broke for a few days and our light is not working properly and has not been fixed, the kitchen lacks equipment such as a stove and utensils as well as a locker to store food because some of us at the hostel had our things stolen, the clothes dryer was broken and it took them days to fix it and when they said they had fixed it, it wasn't working properly and lastly the lack of management when people who are not guests enter.
The only positive point was the bed which was comfortable and you have a lot of privacy.
