I got stuck to the uneven wooden floor and ripped a hole in my sock, I didn't speak to staff about it as I ad to get to work, so I don't know how hey would have handled it.

Great location, very kind staff who made me feel welcome and helped when I needed it. Good room with a nice bed and clean sheets. Good bathroom with as small but comfortable shower.

There is a bizarre culture of thievery in this hostel, which I did not recognise immediately. For example, I wanted to make some coffee in the basement canteen, so I used a container with a 'free coffee' label. An older man was intensely ogling me from behind and quickly accused me of 'stealing' other people's food. I thought this experience was very strange, to say the least, but I soon found out why. Of all the things that this hostel's guests can have their personal items stolen; for example, a wallet, a laptop, a mobile phone, etc., one would not normally suspect that a room key card could be a target, but in this hostel, it is worth €20, so the thieves would steal a room key card if it is unguarded. I was taking a shower and left my room key card unguarded outside with shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc., and it was promptly stolen. When I went to the reception and explained that my room key card was stolen while I was taking a shower, the receptionist would not entertain the fact that I was a victim of petty thievery and promptly demanded that I pay up €20 replacement fee. The hostel's CCTV computer records showed that my room key card was last used to enter the hostel building at around 9pm, and I never left the building, so the room key card must be inside the building somewhere. Someone had my room key card. The 'penalty' for losing the room key card is €20, which is too severe in a case like mine, so I pleaded for lesser penalty, but the hostel would not make any exceptions. The lesson from this negative experience is that someone WILL steal something from you in this hostel, and it is not the obviously valuable items, but it is the least guarded item - the room key card. I wished that I had gone to a different hostel.

The hostel is spacious with the study room and the game room. There is a plenty of personal space and study space.

There were some dirty dishes in the sink in the public kitchen. Overall, the kitchen was sanitary. Many stairs (difficult if you have heavy luggage) / not wheelchair accessible.

Really enjoyed the 2-bed female room. Bathroom in the room was great to have. It was a good price and great location. There are many restaurants and a Tesco nearby. Many museums are also within walking distance. Tram is close by and multiple bus lines to the airport are a few minutes walk away.

The hostels staff are not cooperative and I have lost my money two times by giving me wrong information. i would like to refund again my two booking prices from the hostel that I can render full information. thanks

The stairs and they put the all women's rooms at the top 💀 but hey it's exercise. I just think men would have an easier time carrying luggage but there is a luggage storage room. So if you keep your daily necessities in a backpack it's ok.

I love that there are curtains to block out the light and for privacy on each bunk, even the top bunk! The staff are always nice. The garden is lovely. The kitchen is organised and clean.

Made to wait to check in , even when the room was ready , dirty room with previous guests food and mess down the side of the bed , toilets and showers out of service with out of service notes on the doors , kitchen very poor with only microwaves to cook your food with very limited plates and utensils , checked out before could sleep due to feeling unsafe , pay a few euros to stay somewhere else . It’s worth it , when approached the hostel refund basically 100% refusal , I don’t like to leave such negative reviews but feel left with very little choice

The rooms were on the last floor without a lift. The beds were soft so it hurt my back, the linen wasn't clean, the rooms weren't tidy, the people in the room seemed more "hobo" sort of people, the bathrooms stank, hot water wasn't available. All in all terrible experience. Please avoid!

-No lift, only stairs -Someone’s plastic bottle was left in luggage locker of my bed -Water (both basin and shower) smells bad
