Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location is fantastic, right in the middle of town, l was a little worried about the live music at night, but it certainly didn't keep us awake. Great meal in the pub. Awesome service overall.

The bed in our room was too small and short (my height is 1.75 and my boyfriend is 1.95.)
The hotel and the restaurant/pub are super nice. The staff are friendly, hospitable and always ready to help.

we loved everything!!!
Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The bar and restaurant were a lively place to meet people and enjoy local colour. The food was excellent too.

Great location at the heart of the city. Rooms were spacious and comfy, hardly no noise carried up to the 2nd floor from the bars downstairs. Staff was friendly from the late checkout, through breakfast to check out. Can highly recommend.

Not sure if booking.com processes the payment or the hotel but they charged the card used at booking, the day before arrival which was our friends card as she booked for everyone so just something to be aware of. Also, it says on the website free parking which we couldn't find but there is a public car park 5 minutes walk for €3 a day.
Lovely stay, very central and staff were very nice and helpful. Basic room but very clean, suited us as we just wanted somewhere to rest the head.

Location is excellent, right in the heart of Killarney, yet quiet at night to ensure a sound sleep. Rooms are very well appointed, and beds are extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely bar/restaurant downstairs. We were welcomed by the barman and local customers and had a lovely time learning a bit about Gaelic football that was playing at the time. Fun and welcoming.

This team of staff is absolutely fabulous. the lady at the front desk ran outside to tell me there was a parking spot in front of the hotel when she saw a car leave after I was with her. Then we were greeted by a Mr. Bean level of humour gentleman at the restaurant and he absolutely made my day. Our waiter was fabulous as well and we talked about the darts championships they hold and had pleasant banter. The room was as quiet as one of a detached hotel and especially comfy and clean. This place is a happy place at the heart of a charming and lively village. WOW!

Two in one body and hair wash was not great - no conditioner either. The pillows were rock hard. Toilet paper was more paper than anything else.
The location can’t be beat! Loved the pub downstairs, being able to pop down for the live music was so fun! The room was incredibly spacious, loved the bed, and I had a great view of the cathedral! Room was super quiet - couldn’t hear anything! Staff were super friendly!

Very centrally located with amazing staff, quiet, clean room. There was live music in the evening which was nice with obvious locals and tourists alike. The breakfast here is amazing and a lot for your 14 euros. Parking was easy and just across the street.

We loved our stay here! The hotel staff were very friendly. The location was perfect and walking distance to all of the shops/bars/eatery. The bar attached downstairs had fun live music in the evening. The room was smaller than normal but cozy. Make sure to call and ask about parking, there will be a parking lot a couple blocks away. We would definitely stay here again!
