Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThis is for housekeeping. The steam iron was leaking water and needed cleaning as rusty water came out of it. Been at that point before so this time no damage to the new shirt.
Excellent quality accommodation in every respect from the huge amount of space to the decor, furnishings and fittings. Frankly it was superb value for money. I didn't know exactly where the property was, and as I always use public transport, so I needed help to get there from Dublin Airport and that came straight back. It was a long trip on the number 16 bus and then a short walk to the property.

IrelandWhile its clearly stated in policy and self check in information provided that its Stickley No Smoking, the room we stayed in ( 103) was stinking from the smell of cigarette smoke....particularly in the bathroom and less so in bedroom and on bed clothes. Obviously previous users had smoked in the room. Not a pleasant experience and would not have been able to tolerate it for a 2nd night if we had it booked for a longer stay
One night stay for family get together in Rathgar area, booked two rooms. Location was convenient and easy to access. Roadside parking was fine, as was self check in.

United StatesIt was dirty. Shower grout was yellow and black, decorative pillow and blanket were stained white. shower tray and shower head had build up. It had an empty toilet paper roll. The shower sprays the entire bathroom floor and there’s no mat or extra towels. It is completely self service, didn’t see a single staff personnel. Didn’t receive my code until I had to call cause I was at the door already I couldn’t even enter the hotel in the cold weather. the alley to the parking lot full of cigarette butts.
