Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Irelandmy room was placed directly under the reception entrance therefore I could hear all the people walking on the timber floor coming in at all hours of the night and I couldn’t sleep a wink because of it. I would recommend asking for a quiet room away from the entrance if possible next time! Also I didn’t meet any staff, it was self checkin and self checkout .
The location is in a beautiful safe area in Dublin and the building is really beautiful and well maintained. bedroom was very clean and modern furnishings and sophisticated security system for each bedroom .

United StatesNot always having someone on site to assist with some needs. For example, needed additional toilet paper and no one was around to request it.
Location--close to Dublin City Center. Very easy to take a bus to Dublin. Freedom to come and go--access codes allow you to get in and out of the hotel and your room. You don't need to worry about a key. Neighborhood--cute neighborhood with pubs and grocery stores within walking distance. Several nights we went to the grocery store for wine and food to eat in the communal lounge.

United KingdomThe tap in the shower fell off. Found it difficult then to operate the water temp and turning it off. Before I booked I read that I could get between 10-15% off at the Fat Cat cafe for breakfast. When I mentioned it they didn’t know anything about it
No breakfast was offered Location was great for me.

IrelandThere is ease of access. When travelling for work you want a clean warm comfortable bed in a safe location. it ticked all of these boxes and was good value for money also. There is no option for breakfast but there are microwaves and fridge available to use with good coffee making facilities in the room.

GermanyHeating and cooling not working properly - there was no way to keep one room temperature around 20-21 degrees. Either it does not heat at all or it makes the room like a sauna… Nice queen-size bed, but with only one duvet. There must be two duvets instead…
Excellent service, clean and tidy room, nice service with cafe and tea.

ArgentinaThe WiFi sucks. It tends to get cut off at the worst possible moment, and in general was really really unstable. It wasn't slow, it worked bad. Even more, at 1am, for some reason, the WiFi went from "really unstable" to "unbearable", for some reason. Beyond that, they need to figure out a solution for their fire alarm system, turns out that for some rooms (it didn't happen to me), the shower activated the fire alarm in the building. This happened a total of 4 times in my 2-week stay, 2 of those resulting in several people trying to evacuate, and in one of them, there were no staff to figure if it was a real emergency.
The location is awesome, a tranquil neighborhood, close to a small village. The room was pretty nice, there were no annoying noises most of the time, the staff were always helpful
