Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandI've stayed here before and I like the place. This visit, I didn't realise I had booked the only single occupancy room, which is in the basement of the building. Did not like the location, as it is underneath the entrance to the hotel and noisy. There is a designated smoking area right outside the room too and pedestrians can look in unless you have the blinds drawn. There is no fridge in the room and no place to sit except on the single bed.
Location is great for me and the check-in is easy. Bathroom was spacious and had a window for ventilation and heated floors. It's nice to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room.

IrelandSomeone's hair is on My bed and on the walls in the bathroom. Age-old dust on the coffee machine and TV remote control is an example. Leaving half-used toilet paper in someone's room is such a solution.
The staff was very polite and friendly and tried to help with everything

IrelandI checked out as felt extremely insecure I found it was in a dingy area down in a basement and scared that access through the codes known to unmanned man. The property does not appear like the website. I request full refund.

United KingdomFar too expensive for a stay in an average room with no breakfast. Place was clean but in dire need of a quality upgrade in bedding, the bathroom grouting was ugly and flooring very cheap.
Good location and beautiful house.

IrelandPoor ventilation unless window is opened. The unit we were allocated was on the ground floor. No lift access. Not much of a view except a wall. If window is opened, not sure if someone can climb in. Space feels very tight.

IsraelIt is nothing like a hotel but take hotel prices .. I stayed here because my son lives around the corner but the facilities are very drab .. room is cramped with the sink in the bedroom area and a very small toilet and shower area .. it’s more like a hostel and there is never anyone there .. only by mail you talk with them .. and if you want your room cleaned you need to tell them .. it is just not a welcoming place .. if you don’t need to be in this area look for a centrally located hotel .. there are so many nice ones
This nice sitting room in the front but nobody is ever there .. they take hotel prices but it should be much less per night

IrelandThe room was unfortunately not what I had expected or hoped for - I usually request a room on a high floor with an open view, but this was the opposite (in the basement and grey wall directly outside the room window) plus the bed itself was a small single bed; Check out was 10.
The room and bathroom themselves were clean and modern with good facilities; There was a coffee machine, as well as kettle, in the room with ample supply of coffee, tea, sugar, milk; The location - Rathgar - is a nice village, but located in south Dublin outside the city centre (there are buses running from just outside the property)
