Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. It's quite a walk from main St wexford if weather is bad so be prepared to order taxi (they are hard to get after pubs close)
Comfortable beds with very clean room.its in a quite location so no traffic noise. Nice gardens with outside seating.

The provision of toileteries should be reviewed . Likewise a little more creativity with breakfast menu would be an easy improvement to enhance the whole experience of the stay.
Beautiful location with wonderful views of Wexford Harbour accompanied with lovely welcoming hosts.

Perhaps I didntvread the description properly on booking.com but there was no choice of cookex breakfast.
It was beatifully clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet with great view of the sea. Our hosts were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is "continental" only which meant toast and cereal, etc. The bathroom didn't have any complimentary shampoo, shower gel., which is fair enough, but it was a problem for me as I had forgotten my own. The golf club is the only dining within walking distance.
Quiet suburban neighbourhood far from the action. Nice view of the sea during breakfast with a pleasant garden, clean and straightforward room. Run by a friendly couple, with sufficient parking on property. The rooms are all on the ground floor. We had a pleasant light supper at the golf club which is 5 to 10-minute walking.

Town was a reasonable distance from the property but not much in the way of restaurants/shops in the immediate vicinity. There was a very nice golf club restaurant open to the public a couple of hundred meters from the property which was very convenient for a drink or a nice bite to eat.
Nice view from the property. Decent continental breakfast. Comfortable and quiet.

No facilities in the room for making drinks and a list of important points included a note that food is not allowed in your room. No TV in room. Also no shampoo in bathroom. Shame as these seemingly small issues would have made our stay perfect and are usually provided so we assumed they would be included
Room was clean and comfortable. Lovely, friendly hosts, very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Beautiful view from breakfast room.

No kettle in the bedroom. There was hot water in a flask jug outside but this was not filled in the morning before breakfast. we need a cup of tea to help us out of bed in the morning! 😁

The location is beautiful. Peter and Marie were lovely and very friendly. The breakfast was perfect and just what we wanted. The view while you ate your breakfast was amazing. The bed was so comfy that we struggled to get out of it.

The property is beautiful and breakfast didn't weigh us down like other ones did. The host Marie was exceptionally sweet and talkative. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was large with a bathtub- but shared with other guests.
